Research programme (Euratom, EEC) to be implemented by the Joint Research Centre - Nuclear measurements -, 1980-1983

At the Central Bureau for Nuclear Measurements, Geel Establishment of the Joint Research Centre, data were obtained on the effective neutron cross-sections of some actinides, fission products and materials used for nuclear installations. A uranium and plutonium metal reference material for elementary analysis entered its final stage of development.
To contribute to the development of nuclear fission and fusion power and also to the removal and reduction of impediments to trade through the setting-up of reference materials and methods in the nuclear field.

- Measurement of nuclear data;

- Nuclear reference materials and techniques.
