Data Management Plan Document, updated release (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

This deliverable is a report document containing the updated release of the DMP document, issued in the middle of the project at M24, which describes: all data types to be collected, stored and curated during the project lifetime; how these should be recorded, stored and protected; and what can be made available for re-use by the CCLLs and 3rd parties after the project completion.

A short report on the methodology followed for exposure and vulnerability assessment of the frontrunner CCLLs will be produced This report will include a list of the input datasets used for this task and a graphical representation of the results in form of maps and charts

Report of baseline risk analysis (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

Semi-quantitative risk maps will be produced for all CCLLs based on the outcomes of the baseline risk analysis carried out in this task. Risk maps are graphical representations of the spatial distribution of the likelihood of exceeding certain thresholds of economic losses. This estimation of likelihood will be provided in semi-quantitative terms, for example through a score from 1 to 10, where 1 indicates low risk and 10 indicate high risk. A brief report will also be produced, describing the methodology followed to produce the risk maps.

Map and report of baseline exposure and vulnerability (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

Based on Task 1.3 , this report will provide the development of the vulnerability and exposure indicators of communities and infrastructure in the CCLLs (both frontrunners and followers). These vulnerability and exposure indicators will relate to the key climate hazards identified in Task 1.2. The analysis will include the presence of critical infrastructure (energy, water, transport, ICT, etc.) and public, residential and commercial assets, as well as human and environmental exposure.

A Short report on the CCLLs risk characterisation, which will categorise the risks all CCLLs are subject to, using semi-quantitative classification criteria. In particular, hazard, exposure and vulnerability to different coastal perils will be assessed using a scoring system, and a risk assessment will be carried out to define a classification of the CCLLs and the perils in qualitative terms. A financial categorisation related to identify the different situations each CCLL finds itself in in terms of risk management will be also included in the report.

Since the Early Warning and Digital Twin Platform is a backend system, the guide is meant for technicians. This report will deal with past extreme events in coastal cities, the identification of key hazards and the high-level analysis of baseline exposure and vulnerability to climate impacts, not least sea level rise, based on the work in Tasks 1.2. It contains a hybrid 2D/3D modelling chain, for sediment transport processes connected to hydrodynamic models at the storm scale. Data and tools from D3.1, D3.3 and D3.5 are inputs of this deliverable, as well as WP1 results and additional local observations from the WP4 activities, relevant to the specific objective.

Package of modelling tools and local datasets produced in Task 3.4, regarding local hazards, specifically of flooding, and their occurrence probabilities. WP1 results are used for the local assessment of hazards. It consists of a complete hydrological-hydraulic model set up to simulate urban flooding scenarios, for main hazard situations with different occurrence probability, as determined from the clustering tools of D3.5. Data and tools from D3.1 and D3.3 are also inputs of this deliverable, as well as additional local observations from the WP4 activities, relevant to the specific objective.

The exposure databased will be delivered in a standard format (csv table, shapefile, access database or any other internationally-accepted format) and will include a list of assets, their geographical coordinates, their description and the categorisation of their most important risk-related features. The vulnerability functions will be delivered in a standard format (csv table or any other text format) and will include the characterisation of the vulnerability for all the typologies included in the exposure database.

A series of citizen science activities in the 10 CCLLs. This deliverable presents a series of the citizen science activities and workshops that will be carried out with the collaboration of WP2 in all the CCLLs.

Risk profiles for the frontrunner CCLLs (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

Risk profiles for every frontrunner CCLL will be produced. Risk profiles are documents that contain basic information about the city (such as location, population, exposure maps, GDP) and the outcomes of the residual risk analysis both in spatially-distributed and graphical forms. Examples of representations are hazard maps, risk maps, hazard curves and loss exceedance curves.

Collection of procedures and data sample produced in Task 3.1The deliverable consists of a homogeneous dataset of time series of historical data and projections for the coastal meteo-oceanographic parameters, for all project areas, as identified by WP1 and WP2. The package contains also the procedure set up to extract input data provided by major European initiatives for historical and projection data, including models, observations, and locally available data.

The release of the lectures and workshop materials as MOOCs as a result of task 9.6.This deliverable will see the release of the lecture and workshop material that got converted to Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs).
