Deliverables

Digital educational resources and learning objects and educational scenarios (final versions) (opens in new window)

Resulting from a two-stage peer review process by internal and external experts, final versions of digital educational resources (DREs), learning objects (DLOs) and educational scenarios will be provided. Number of Novel Digital Educational Resources (DERs) and Digital Learning Objects (DLOs) - 20 (minimum).Number of Digital learning objects available for use (includes DERs and DLOs harvested from open repositories and platforms) - 150 (minimum).Number of Educational scenarios - 10 (minimum).DERs will be media elements such as texts, illustrations, videos, information objects like presentations, principles and concepts, or aggregate assemblies such as webpages. DLOs are small, autonomous, reusable and pedagogically integrated learning content structures, such as dynamic representations, models, simulations, concept maps, or mini games. An educational scenario is an integrated learning unit that proposes a structured way for organizing the teaching-learning process and provides all the information and tools needed to enact actual teaching.

Web-based interactive virtual educational environment for networking, collaboration and communication (opens in new window)

Webbased interactive virtual environment to support collaboration communication networking of students and teachers professional stakeholders and parents as well as sharing of educational scenarios

School Project Management Resources and Scientific Inquiry Instruments (opens in new window)

Templates for instruments that students will use to conduct their projects on community environment This will include data analysis tools activity sheets observation grids questionnaires and databases

Web-based Educational Resource Repository (opens in new window)

Webbased digital Educational Resource Repository for hosting organizing systematically classifying documenting and disseminating STEM digital learning resources

Consolidation of results and success stories. Edited volume with case studies (opens in new window)

Edited volume of case studies of school projects with community outreach events and recommendations for future use of the educational scenarios and for school – researcher – community – enterprise collaborations.

Digital educational resources, learning objects and educational scenarios (pilot versions) (opens in new window)

Digital educational resources, learning objects and educational scenarios provision (pilot versions). Number of Novel Digital Educational Resources (DERs) and Digital Learning Objects (DLOs) - 10 (minimum).Number of Digital learning objects available for use (includes DERs and DLOs harvested from open repositories and platforms) - 80 (minimum).Number of Educational scenarios - 5 (minimum).DERs will be media elements such as texts, illustrations, videos, information objects like presentations, principles and concepts, or aggregate assemblies such as webpages.
