Identify areas of improvement in existing technical specifications to liaise with IEC technical committeesOutcome of task 61
Description of User Case 2 hybrid testing platformA technical description of the setup of this user case that describes the upgrades of the electrical PTO test rig that complies with the requirements of the open hybrid testing platform proposed in WP2Outcome of task 42
Specification for data management for the VALID Hybrid Test PlatformReport defining the highlevel control and monitor strategy and the required interferences with different domainsOutcome of task 24
Accelerated testing requirementsIn Task 1.1, the critical components / subsystems, their related parameters and the associated design requirements will be identified for representative ocean energy converters. Particular attention shall be given to the case studies detailed in WPs 3 to 5. Scaling considerations and physical testing limitations shall also be addressed. Outcome of task 1.1
Description of UC1 hybrid testing platformThis deliverable gathers all information to setup the VALID Hybrid Test Platform This included choosing the metocean conditions setting up wavetowire models as well as highfidelity CFD models used to estimate scale effects It also includes setting up the structural models needed for the hybrid modelOutcome of task 33
Design and manufacturing report for the physical test rigsThis report will focus on the design and manufacturing of VALID seal rig test bench including sample preparation to successfully implement the testing planOutcome of task 32
Knowledge Exchange & Dissemination StrategyThis document will set out the overarching strategy for achieving coordinated, engaging, multi-stakeholder exchange of knowledge that will progress the scientific understanding of ocean energy and knowledge exchange between academic and industrial partners in order to bridge the existing gap between both disciplines. Outcome of task 7.1
VALID Test Plan GuidanceThis delivery aims to create a test plan guidance document specific to the VALID project The test plan guidance shall benefit from the activities conducted in the WP1 tasks simultaneously benefiting from and contributing to the work conducted in Task 15 Outcome of task 14
Critical Components and Modelling LimitationsThis report will review and define the modelling approaches theoretical numerical and experimental physical to be considered in the VALID project to address the design and accelerated testing of the critical components subsystems The output shall inform the overall architecture of the VHTP to be developed in WP2 by identifying the critical modules that shall be addressed theoretically numerically or physically To ensure that physical inputs are considered and the benefits of hybrid testing maximised key information regarding the test rigs available to the VALID project shall be compiled and reviewed to ascertain where applicable the updates required to address critical components subsystemsOutcome of task 12
Metrics and targets for stage-gate assessment of ocean energy technologiesDefinition of minimum requirements and quality of the physical testing activities to testdemonstrate reliability and durability through accelerated lifetime testingOutcome of task 62
User case and methodology report for User Case 3Report that define the test cases according to the new methodology proposed in WP1 and compile all input data required to apply the new testing protocolsOutcome of task 51
Definition of generator thermal fatigue testingThis deliverable will result in a comprehensive specification of the user case including the data virtual models and the new capabilities of the test benches needed IDOMs wavetotorque mode will be tailored to the reliability testing requirementsOutcome of task 41
Training Program PlanDevelop a Training Program of five online webinars to support knowledge exchange and dissemination of the project results to an audience of more than 200 people communicating the progress of the project Outcome of task 75
Quality Assurance Plan - first versionQuality Assurance Plan (QAP) will be defined and elaborated by RISE for quality and risk management. The QAP will be reviewed every 6 months at each Project Steering Committee meetings. It will serve as a project handbook for VALID project partners to assure the swift and coordinated management of all aspects described here above. . This plan will also consider H&S issues along the project. Outcome of task 8.1
Stakeholder Knowledge Exchange PlanAquatera will report each year on all exploitation knowledge exchange and dissemination activities and their related assessment The results of the project will be disseminated to wisely selected targets so that their content is known by each key player in the European Ocean Energy field who can influence the implementation of VALIDOutcome of task 76
Create a plan for promoting the project through media, marketing and digital communications activity, to ensure a high profile for the project and support exchange of knowledge more widely. This plan will detail media and marketing engagement activity, set out the digital communication tools to be used for each area of the project, including creating a new website, social media channels, setting up file and calendar sharing, and digital conferencing tools. Outcome of task 7.3
A data management plan will be established by to set out data handling for the project. This plan includes the management of data and databases generated during the project, including IPR. In this stage, the IPR policy, briefly described in the impact section will be formulated and formalised in the Consortium Agreement. Outcome of task 7.2
