Communication plan

The strategic communication plan defines the target audiences key messages communication channels and implementation plan based on a thorough stakeholder analysis The plan will be produced by AVIPE in M6 and updated in M24 and M48 to include reports on the implemented activities Communication activities laid out in the plan will be implemented in the scope of this task for both online and offline activities

Dissemination plan [update 1]

This will be the first updateThis task is dedicated to developing a plan to ensure the effective dissemination of the projects results This plan will be developed by AVIPE and will i define dissemination strategies and opportunities identified by project partners ii include specific dissemination goals and KPIs Table 12 section 22 iii define a series of dissemination tools to be created Table 12 section 22iv be reviewed annually and updated according to project progress and the past performance of the plan The plan will outline the roles and responsibilities of partners and the conditions ensuring proper dissemination of the knowledge related to confidentiality publication and use of the knowledgePartners will participate in knowledgesharing events such as networking events industry salons conferences and exhibitions to disseminate the concept and results and gain relevant knowledge The goal is threefold to promote the project results to disseminate a sustainable strategy for industrial CO2 emission mitigation and to contribute to the awareness of the potential of microalgae as a source of ingredients for food cosmetics and plant biostimulants Moreover partners will organise events such as workshops and webinars to share the expertise developed in the project with external stakeholders Visits to the Living Lab similar to a showroom to demonstrate the functioning of the pilot plant and the performance of the ingredients developed are equally foreseen together with the hosting of events to disseminate results across a public of wine producing experts potential microalgal ingredients users and other industrial and policy actors

Specific measures for algae production for young and female wine producers

A report with specific proposals will be made to pave the way to a smooth integration of microalgae production within the future schemes for supporting wine producers with special attention will be paid to measures for involving young wine producers and women

Analysis of European structures to support microalgae wine producers

Industrial and manufacturingscale price and cost modelling techniques will be employed to inform design development and operational decisions in turn determining manufacturing system capacity throughput modularity economies of scale economies of scope etc The ultimate goal is to establish a range of financial metrics to informREDWines business plan Task 11 with important and relevant econometric guidance will influence the initial target market sector The financial models created will encompass a the development of costefficient cultivation systems for wine producers b integration of wine production liquid effluent for Chlorella growth and wastewater recycling c supply of exhaust CO2 as inorganic carbon source for Chlorella growth and CO2 bioremediation d efficient energy use e industrial control sensors and automation and f valorisation of Chlorella biomass as feedstock to obtain ingredients for food cosmetic and plant biostimulant as a way to diversify wine producers business models and to generate higher revenues

Demonstration-scale Chlorella production unit

To achieve a demonstration-scale Chlorella production unit, different systems will be installed in the winery site, including: 1) water collection, treatment and storage system; 2) cultivation medium preparation and storage system; 3) carbonation system (a pure CO2 supply system will be installed as risk mitigation strategy for fermentation off-gas supply); 4) inoculum production systems - 7 and 30m2 unilayer horizontal tubular PBRs (A4F); 5) demo-scale cultivation systems - 150m2 RW(COLD) and 115m2 unilayer horizontal tubular PBR (A4F); 6) temperature regulation system; 7) harvesting system - air flotation (COLD), centrifuge and/or membrane filtration (A4F/LEITAT); 8) downstream processing system - cell disruption (bead mill), centrifugation (disc stack) and ultrafiltration modules; 9) monitoring, automation and control system. When in operation, such unit will obtain Chlorella biomass, as well as Chlorella bioactive ingredients. A4F will develop the engineering project and will execute the civil engineering work necessary and the installation of the unit, in collaboration with COLD, for cultivation and harvesting, and AVIPE, whose one of the associates will host the unit.

Communication materials package

Creation of a full communication material package logo visual identity communication templates flyers banners etc including a project website social media and videos The website will provide access to the publications and other material arising from the project as well as present interactive material such as promotional videos produced for dissemination purposes A LinkedIn community will be developed with support of all partners to maximize stakeholder engagement as indicated in T81 The objective of the website social media and other communication material will be to display the projects vision implementation of activities and results throughout the project All communication means and materials will be designed and prepared in accordance with the target groups identified and favoured communication channels A flexible approach will allow adaptation of the material during the course of the project eg printing of flyers on demand The BBI JU logo EC and BIC emblems will be visible on all communication material indicating their funding of the project
