Deliverables
The research data of this project will generally be obtained from computer-based devices. Experimental and computational data of this project will be machine-retrievable and stored in these specialized devices and will be reusable when it is needed. The security of my project data will be ensured with codes and these computer-based devices will be maintained by the IT department of IKCU. When the findings of this project are published, digital object identifiers (DOIs) will be assigned to them. Publications will be accessible through the most important databases and trusted repositories.
This project depends on creating strong synergy within various research disciplines. This means that significant advancements will also take place in the fields of drug synthesis, nanoparticle technology and biology. It is expected that the project will generate high quality publications, technological know‐how and IP (patents). It will thus have a scientific as well as industrial impact in the bio‐medical and pharmaceutical sectors, particularly in drug discovery and development. Therefore, the main direct result of my project will be the development of a drug candidate for HIV/AIDS that can be taken into the animal test, preclinical studies and then clinical trial phase.
