Data Management Plan (si apre in una nuova finestra)

I will submit a Data Management Plan within six months of project start. This will outline the storage of the meta data for each sample and population and describe how the raw data generated will be made publicly available. The DMP will also outline how the code used to analyse the data will be made available under a GNU public license.

Communication, Dissemination & Outreach Plan (si apre in una nuova finestra)

In order to raise awareness of my research I will use Twitter, which has many academic users. I have previously used this with great effect and will continue to do so. I will, in collaboration with the host institution, send out press releases whenever a new paper is published. I have previously had great success getting my research into international media. This meant that I got a lot of experience talking to the press and communicating technical results to the public. I will apply this experience to Project BrackAdapt to help reach a broader audience. In order to ensure that the results of Project BrackAdapt is accessible to a wider, non-academic target group I have established a blog (www.brackadapt.wordpress.com) where I will communicate directly with society. This blog will be aimed directly at the stakeholders, such as the angling communities along the Baltic Sea coast and the local fisheries. I will present results in an easy understandable way with figures and pictures and clear take home messages aimed at understanding what makes (their) local populations unique. I will draw attention tothe blog by posting in the local Swedish, Danish and German Facebook angling and biodiversity groups whenever there is a new update to the blog. These Facebook groups have tens of thousands of members and are ideal for reaching a wider audience. Numbers of readers of the blog will be monitored, making the success of the communication channel easily quantifiable. The scientific results from Project BrackAdapt will be presented in a number of scientific publications and conference talks targeted towards the scientific community. In total, Project BrackAdapt will yield three scientific papers acknowledging MSCA as the source of funding. My publication plan is as follows: I will submit results of WP 2 separately for each of the two species in specialized journals such as Molecular Ecology and Evolutionary Applications (D1 and D2). I aim to submit the results of WP 3 and WP4 combined for the two species in a high- ranking journal such as Nat. Ecol. Evol. or Cell (D5). I will also co-author publications emerging from collaborations with my host group. I will attend conferences/symposiums of two types. Specialized events such as the Percis Fish International Symposium, the International Symposium on Pike or the Baltic Sea Science Congress (D3). I will also attend evolutionary ecology conferences such as Society for Molecular Biology & Evolution’s annual conference, Ecology and Evolution for a Changing World and the World Biodiversity Forum (D4 and D6). The specific conferences are yet to be determined, but I will aim to attend one conference in person at the end of WP2, WP3 and WP4 as described in the project description. The Covid-19 pandemic has restricted traveling, but it has also increased the standard of online conferences. Thus, I will aim to attend one such event every six months. As conference dates and programs become available, I will, in collaboration with my supervisor decide which events are best suited to disseminate my results, have the greatest impact and help meet my career goals. Upcoming conferences will be on the agenda for every Career Development Plan meetings.
