Results of recovered materials harnessing in other fields (si apre in una nuova finestra)Report describing viability of use of recovered metals in enamels and ceramic pigments
End-of-life battery value chain and data issues: current situation and future perspectives (si apre in una nuova finestra)Report on EOL battery value chain current situation and future perspectives according to the developments of upcoming European Directives. Identification of available information in order to establish procedures for data exchange.
Report on electrochemical testing of new, spent and recycled cells (si apre in una nuova finestra)Report on the comparison of electrochemical performance of the cells in different conditions. Classification of the tested spent cells whether they are suitable for a second life or ready for recycling.
FREE4LIB Battery Passport Concept (si apre in una nuova finestra)D5.4 will comprise the data model of the digital battery passport platform that can close the information gap between a battery’s BOL and EOL phases. In addition, it will provide a clear definition of user requirements, roles and access rights. The proposed data model will serve as input for Task 2.4 «Battery passport deployment».
Report on plastic materials recovered and properties characterization (si apre in una nuova finestra)Report describing the techiques applied for screening the different types of polymeric materials, separation process and properties characterization by means of laboratory essays and testing.
Validation and analysis of physics-based and data-driven models for cells and recycling process (si apre in una nuova finestra)This report will describe the physics-based and data-driven models linking the whole FREE4LIB recycling process (from EOL LIBs to new LIB using recycled materials) and their validation using experimetal data obtained from Task 2.2 and WP 3 and 4.
Health analysis results and 2nd life battery description (si apre in una nuova finestra)Report showing the results of the SoH evaluation performed at cell level and a description of the 2nd life battery assembled. Related to Task 2.5
Report on metal reuse as raw powder for Additive Manufacturing (si apre in una nuova finestra)This report will describe the metallic powder valorisation by means of production of aluminium alloys raw powder by centrifugal atomisation, in comparison with conventional gas atomisation, and the printability and properties obtained using such raw material in Selective Laser Melting.
Report on pre- and post- recycling materials characterization (si apre in una nuova finestra)This technical report will illustrate the results obtained from the characterization of the active materials before and after the recycling process, giving insights on the behaviour observed at cell level and on the recycling process.
Best practices and optimisation of LIBs packaging, collection and logistics (si apre in una nuova finestra)Analysis and study of current best practices in packaging, collection and transport of lithium batteries.Study of critical points and optimisation of the processes, also in accordance with the new European Regulation.
Data management plan (si apre in una nuova finestra)Data Management Plan for FREE4LIB project. This plan will ensure that all research data generated complies with the FAIR principles: findable, accessible, interoperable and reusable. It will follow the template provided by the European Commission establishing the guidelines for an appropriate management of the information generated inside the project.
Laboratory results and methodology to scale-up technologies (si apre in una nuova finestra)Development of the methodology to scale-up recycling technologies for cathode and black mass from the lab-scale results
To support communication activities and to give access to the public to the project-related news.
The Deliverable 4.5 will contain all the information related to task 4.8. Within this task, the final application for the FREE4LIB battery pack and its requirements will be defined (Task 4.8.1 and 4.8.2). The BP will be designed according with these requirements, considering the thermal, electrical and structural components (Task 4.8.3 and 4.8.4). It will also gather the information of the manufacturing, assembly and disposal phase of the BP (Task 4.8.5).
First version of the Battery Passport platform deployed and validated in a controlled environment.
Battery Passport platform (version II) (si apre in una nuova finestra)First version of the Battery Passport platform integrated with all the processes, systems and devices that should be part of the traceability process of a battery providing information about it during its lifecycle.
