Raising the bio-based industrial feedstock capacity of Marginal Lands

Risultati finali

Data Management plan (RP1)

Description of the data management life cycle for the data to be collected, processed and/or generated by the project, ensuring the research data is findable, accessible, interoperable and re-usable (FAIR).This deliverable will result from the undertaking of Task 8.3

Report on Com, Diss & Replication Activities (RP1)

A report that details the communication, dissemination and replication activities undertaken. This deliverable will result from the undertaking of Task 7.2 and 7.3.

Report on land use baselines in the use cases

Report on current use of land to produce feedstock and findings about how to define marginal lands, identification of stakeholders perception on main drivers for marginality in their use cases, the existing farmer networks and their own ideas, interests in novel value chains/ cropping options. This deliverable will result from the undertaking of Task 1.4

Action plan for multi-actor engagement in demo cases

Detailed plan for engagement of stakeholders in different stages of implementation in all demo cases. This deliverable will result from the undertaking of Task 5.2

Regionally adapted biodiversity indicator system

The internal report define the regional biodiversity and ESS targets for every single case study. The regional indicator system follow a unique basic structure for all use cases and will be specified for every single use case. The contents of the indicator systems (regional target and related indicators) will be set up together with regional stakeholder within a Co-design approach. This deliverable will result from the undertaking of Task 2.1

Monitoring protocol

The internal report set up basic rules and request for monitoring the impacts of various alternative land use option. The protocol should safeguard comparability between the distinct implementations of new farming and managements systems (WP3) within the various use cases. The draft of the monitoring system will development by WP2. It will be finalized in a workshop/ exchange with regional stakeholders. The monitoring should be done by local authorities within the use cases. This deliverable will result from the undertaking of Task 2.3

Implementation guidelines of various industrial crops on marginal lands regarding biodiversity impacts

These guidelines will include an estimation of biodiversity impacts and ESS outputs of industrial crops/biomass crops on marginal lands, helping with the implementation of soil pre-treatment measures in each specific use case. This deliverable will result from the undertaking of Task 2.2

Monitoring framework

This will include -Site assessment strategy-Soil quality monitoring methodology: sampling locations, sampling methods, and sample storage, transport and analysis guidance -Other data collection reporting guidance-Interpretation guidanceThis deliverable will result from the undertaking of Task 4.1

Preliminary draft Report_Requirements for low ILUC biomass

Draft report identifying barriers and potentials for Low ILUC biobased products from marginal lands. This deliverable will result from the undertaking of Task 1.2

Value chains for feedstock from marginal lands

A report that explores and ranks the factors that are critical for value chain coherence, stability and transparency. This deliverable will result from the undertaking of Task 6.1

CDER&N Plan (RP1)

Plan including the communication, dissemination, replication and exploitation strategy for the project. This deliverable will result from the undertaking of Task 7.1

Stakeholder analysis and map for all demo cases

Description of key stakeholders in all demo cases, their role and responsibilities in different stages of the value chain. This deliverable will result from the undertaking of Task 5.1

MarginUp! ethical guidelines

Guidelines for monitoring compliance with human participation, protection of personal data (POPD) and health and safety and possible environmental harm during the project. This deliverable will result from the undertaking of Task 8.4

Available marginal lands map with relevant stakeholders

The availability of marginal lands and important stakeholders will be depicted on an online map that will be published on the project's website. The map will include information on their marginality elements and their potential for various low ILUC bioeconomy value chains. This deliverable will result from the undertaking of Task 1.1
