It will do so as part of the foresight exercise done with the European Policy Forum and the co-leads of the living labs in WP1.
Synthesis report on gender norms and barriers in (A)KIS (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)Based on two focus groups with women innovators (per case-study area) we will list and analyse women’s incentives and obstacles for the engagement in innovation, including gender relations, norms, and stereotypes. This will be followed by two focus groups (per case-study area) with men innovators to understand their attitude towards and experience with women-innovators and to understand different gender dynamics in different European regions, and (12) interviews (per case-study-area) with relevant agricultural and rural support organisations, as well as trainers and advisers, scientists, banks and funders, policymakers to identify unconscious bias and identify starting points for improvement
European Policy forum exploitation plan (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)The Forum Workplan produced jointly by AEIDL and COPA-COGECA will set the objectives, activities, time plan and KPIs for the Forum. In addition to participating in the research activities of other WPs.
Report on existing knowledge of rural women led innovation (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)Report on existing knowledge of rural women led innovation. This will consists of a literature review of studies into rural women innovators engagement and experiences, to inventory what we already know about the gender specificity of women-led innovation, in terms of process, drivers and barriers and in particular their experiences of gender norms inhibiting their recognition and support by policymakers, rural citizen and the innovation support system for farming and rural development.
Midterm report on cross lab learning events (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)A suite of cross lab and context specific learning events will be identified, to be delivered in an online seminar format which can be accessed by all lab members (for example, expert sessions on innovation, lab management, innovator identity). Lab participants will also have the opportunity to share individual lab experiences and outputs and capture cross-lab insights at the annual showcase events (WP6).
Update dissemination and exploitation plan 2 (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)Update of the dissemination and exploitation plan at each reporting period (18th months, 36 months)
Policy brief presenting mega trends and foresight on rural women led innovation (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)D.1.2: Policy brief presenting mega trends and foresight on rural women led innovation. A meta-analysis of existing foresight studies exercises at EU and global levels will be conducted to explore current mega-trends on, and define plausible futures for, the role of women in agriculture, rural economies, and communities up to 2063.
Communication, Dissemination and Exploitation Plan (CDEP) (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)In order to maximize impact, a strategy for the Dissemination and Exploitation of Results (DERP) (D6.1) will be developed in order to focus and mobilize communications and disseminations activities throughout the project, with regular activities for an international audience in English and national audiences in national languages.
Individual lab programmes and report on 1st year operation (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)Each lab will develop a lab description, including its particular focus; to be communicated with other lab leaders and the WP6 lead under the programme communication strategy.
Practice abstracts-batch n.2 (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)The project will produce 10 practice abstracts for deliverbale D1.2 and D5.1, summarising the main insights generated for each of the nine case study -led socio-ecological innovations in farming, the rural economy and in rural communities in max 2 pages. Nine abstracts focus the relevant actors and practitioners in the nine case study countries while the tenth will provide an overview and comparison focusing on supranational actors and practitioners.
GRASS CEILINGMOOC on rural women-led innovation (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)In addition to locally identified and specific small-scale training/knowledge transfer activities identified by and delivered in each Living Lab, an online Training Academy will deliver an online toolkit (consisting of a series of core training modules) and a MOOC, effectively sharing best practices and successful models in women´s innovation – incorporating insights from the living labs. The training to lead a women’s socio-ecological innovation lab will also be included. The toolkit and MOOC will be key dissemination and legacy tools for the project, delivering the core skills and learnings to wider and mass target audiences beyond the LLs and the project in EU and Associated countries. The material will be offered to relevant training institutes in the member.
Synthesis report on benchmarking legal frameworks for land transfer (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)This task will consider the legal framework governing land transfer in each case study Member State; assess the gendered implications of each legal framework; and through comparative analysis identify legal framework is more or less gender equal. It will also identify the current norms in land and farm ownership as they relate to women’s potential to contribute to agricultural innovations.
Synthesis report gender benchmarking European and national agricultural and rural policies (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)Using the template (task 4.1.) the EU stakeholder organisations will collaborate with the national partners in analysing the European policies and national equivalents listed below. The national academic partners will benchmark the national policies. The European stakeholder organisations will analyse the European policies, while synthesising the results across national and European policies.
Brochure with final results (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)Brochure with final results will be presented, including a summary of the results from the project.
Update dissemination and exploitation plan 1 (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)The forum member will maximise the use of the training Academy (T6.5), and will support research activities conducted in other WPs, involving them in the co-creation and validation of key research outputs e.g., in the foresight exercise (WP1), connections with the Living Labs (WP2), policy recommendations and tools (WP5). An exploitation strategy will be designed by the key European Stakeholder Organisations of the project (AEIDL, EEB, Copa-Cogeca, WEP and AEIDL) in the context of to ensure its continuation beyond the life of the project.
Practice abstracts- batch n.1 (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)The project will produce 10 practice abstracts for deliverbale D1.2 and D5.1, summarising the main insights generated for each of the nine case study -led socio-ecological innovations in farming, the rural economy and in rural communities in max 2 pages. This task concerns the completion of the Data Management Plan (DMP) the ethical guidelines for collecting, processing, sharing, and storing personal data. SETU will finalise the Data Management (D7.1) and Risk Management Plan (RMP) . SETU will also prepare the ethical guidelines for the project (D7.1). All project partners will be trained and supported to apply these guidelines. The regular review of the DMP, RMP and the ethical guidelines is part of the monitoring plan and outlined under task 7.5.

Template & training webinar for gender benchmarking farm & rural policy (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)Benchmarking complex EU and national policies can seem impossible. Based on extensive experience of benchmarking, the task leader will produce templates to assist all of the collaborators to undertake the benchmarking exercise and will also produce a webinar on benchmarking best practice for the toolkit.
Drawing on the Green Deal and the EU Farm to Fork Strategy both of which promote sustainable socio-ecological transitions in agriculture and rural areas, 9 GRASS CEILING living labs will be created in 9 partner countries to support existing and potential rural women innovators in developing their innovator identity, co-create knowledge within an innovator network, and progress rural socio-ecological transition through green innovation skill development. In- and cross- country knowledge and resource sharing are embedded in the lab network structure.
