The project website will be designed to provide an accessible overview of the project objectives and proposed activities. It will also house an interactive knowledge hub that will host all the project resources and enable other stakeholders to upload their resources, with an approval process.

Central Knowledge Hub & Guidance note on its use/functions (si apre in una nuova finestra)

This deliverable is an online interactive knowledge repository to which any stakeholders can upload relevant research, reports and documentation on urban food systems in Africa and Europe. The platform will be accompanied by a guidance note for how users can engage with the platform and how administrators must maintain it.

This deliverable will be an assessment of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in each hub city, looking at the specific enabling policies for entrepreneurship, mapping key players that are providing incubation and acceleration support for new and young businesses, as well as identifying some potential market options

In alignment with D 1.1, 5 baseline reports of the form and function of food environments in each of the five hub cities will be produced, specifically to identify key gaps and opportunities for improving access to nutritious food.

An overview of existing EU projects that have produced outputs and results relevant to African cities will be collated into a toolkit for project partners to make use of in undertaking the AfriFOODlinks project work

15 ‘State of the City Food System’ reports- AU (si apre in una nuova finestra)

This is the outcome of surface level research in five hub cities and 10 African sharing cities. It collates existing research and engages with local governments to understand the most pressing challenges that they are facing and the priorities that they have articulated. It provides a basis for the continuing governance, business incubation, and food environment experiments, collating necessary information to inform these pieces of work

Based on the governance assessment methodology, five governance assessment reports, including stakeholder maps, will be produced to inform the governance processes unfolding in each of the hub cities

Based on the initial convenings of multi stakeholder platforms, a city governance action plan and monitoring framework will be co-developed in the five hub cities.
