Risultati finali
The objective of D2.1 is to define the framework for the creation of innovative governance schemes based on the co-creation, commitment and participation of stakeholders. It will examine existing policies and regulatory frameworks at European level to identify current challenges in managing the Biodiversity, Climate and Water nexus into actions for stakeholders from different case studies and new opportunities to change the forms of governance.
D1.1: Policy report on “Institutional barriers and enablers for a better marine multi-level governance” (si apre in una nuova finestra)The research report D1.1 identifies the institutional barriers and enablers for effective and less conflictual marine governance. It draws on an extensive literature review of different academic and policy-related data sources to exploit existing knowledge and collate major insights to improve the current state of ocean governance. The report focuses on the analysis of different types of actors as well as of the institutions (as norms and rules) that govern the field and are important for coordination and coherence.
D2.2: Guidance on the “Implementation of the case studies – A tool for the development of strategic foresight” (si apre in una nuova finestra)"In D2.2, the strategic foresight tool is an opportunity to establish a structure for multi-scale and multi-actor deliberations around the question ""what should be done?"" "". It will work, considering scenarios, with the actors (i) for the ""co-construction"" of capacities, based on the digital tool, to assess the cumulative impacts and opportunities (for whom?, when? how? ), and to translate them into collective actions and management at different levels."
D1.2: Policy brief on “Institutional barriers and enablers for a better marine multi-level governance” (si apre in una nuova finestra)D1.2 is a summary document to support the dissemination to a wide public of the key findings elaborated in WP1 and explained in detail in D1.1
D3.1: Case Study Protocol (including indicators and ex-ante evaluation) (si apre in una nuova finestra)Task 3.1 has at its core the preparation of a Case Study Protocol, supporting the smooth policy experimentations across cases. The Case Study Protocol defines the common approach for the execution of policy dialogues in the different case studies, ensuring coordinated and consistent execution of activities in the case studies. The Protocol will define the objectives, rules, and task schedule for a timely execution of the policy experimentations in the case studies, while ensuring the proper consideration of key insight from WP1, as well as the exploitation of the analytical tools and methods (WP2) in the real-world cases. As a part of the Protocol, a “forward-looking workplan” for each case study will be also developed, to initiate and coordinate research and innovation activities across cases- providing scientific and technical advice to the case study teams.
D5.3 will inform the general public of the objectives, content and geographical scope of the entire project. It will also deliver initial insights developed during the first year f the project.
