Risultati finali

Citizen-led actions in COs’ toolkit (si apre in una nuova finestra)

Description of final ‘Citizen-led actions in COs’ toolkit and accompanying guidance to be included in the CitiObs Cookbook. This deliverable will be a compilation of the collective knowledge, successes and failures, as well as tools methods and inspiration to support future citizen observatories (CO) in generating citizen and community-led local actions that make visible, engage and promote sustainable change through creative practices as part of the CitiObs Cookbook. The deliverable will contain the results from T1.4.

CO participation in multi-level governance toolkit (2/2) (si apre in una nuova finestra)

Description of final ‘CO participation in multi-level governance’ toolkit and accompanying guidance to be included in the CitiObs Cookbook (final version)Resulting from the consolidation of existing approaches in T1.2, this deliverable will present the final version of the toolkit CO participation in multi-level governance that COs can readily draw on and apply to their specific conditions, socio-political context and CO purpose for dealing with CO participation dynamics, fostering trust among CO stakeholders and supporting the uptake of CO data in decision making. Moreover, this deliverable will contain the final version of accompanying guidance for this toolkit, which will have been refined iteratively from its application by the Frontrunner cities and, subsequently, by the Implementer cities.

Needs assessment of Frontrunner and Implementer cities (2/2) (si apre in una nuova finestra)

Report on the needs assessment of Frontrunner and Implementer cities (final version). As a part of T3.2, a self-assessment tool will be developed and applied to understand priorities and learning needs of participant Frontrunner and Implementer cities. This deliverable will present the (updated) methodology and final results of this needs assessment exercise.

Leave no one behind engagement Toolkit (2/2) (si apre in una nuova finestra)

Final version of the Engagement Toolkit (gender equality, inclusion of disadvantaged groups in COs) and accompanying guidance to be included in CitiObs Cookbook. This deliverable bundles the ‘Leaving No One Behind’ practices for empowerment, inclusiveness and equity in COs that will be developed in Task T1.1, and implemented and further tested in Tasks T3.1 and T3.2, in a final updated version of the Engagement Toolkit. This Toolkit will describe best practice mechanisms for inclusive engagement across cultures, disciplines, genders and ages within urban communities, including ethnic minorities, disabled groups, women, seniors, LGTB, immigrants, racial/cultural minorities and people with mobility challenges.

Communication, Dissemination and Exploitation Plan (2/2) (si apre in una nuova finestra)

Updated version of the dissemination, communication and exploitation plan including the the CitiObs website, communication kit and visual identity.

Frontrunner and Implementer multi-media materials (si apre in una nuova finestra)

This deliverable will result from Tasks T3.1 and T3.2. The main aim of this deliverable is to capture and transfer the lessons learned by Frontrunner and Implementer to a broad range of audience using 10 multi-media materials e.g., short videos. The exact format of the multi-media material (minimum 10) will be determined based on the content.

Technical architecture (si apre in una nuova finestra)

Document describing the agreed technical architecture, components diagram and standard protocols and API connecting them. The technical architecture defines the technical components used or developed during the project and the way they connect and interact with each other. It will be presented by separating a client side and a server side architecture. To main components that will be very visible in the architecture will be the AUTHENTIX and iFLINK sensor data platform and a chapter will describe how will orchestrate and connect with other components in the technical architecture. The document will include a core UML diagram detailing the overall architecture that will be explained section by section in different chapters. The technical architecture will prioritize standard protocols and will be based on replaceable building block. A final chapter will describe how this approach increases the sustainability of CitiObs architecture and the exploitability of the individual building blocks in other setups.

“ValAir” and “MapAir” toolkits (si apre in una nuova finestra)

An Open-Source repository with a set of algorithms for data validation and for generating decision ready information, description of the toolkit and accompanying guidance as part of the CitiObs Knowledge Platform. The repository will be developed as part of T2.2 and T2.3.The algorithms will include, among others, the code employed for the generation of the high-resolution environmental maps, data quality control of sensors and sensor data validation. The algorithms will be integrated as part of the existing iFLINK sensor data platform, hosted at NILU. To those COs that do not wish to have their own sensor data platform, they will be offered the possibility to connect with the iFLINK platform. Information on how to do that will also be part of the accompanying guidance. The guidance will also include the methodology for the validation of citizen generated data using low-cost sensors and the generation of high-resolution environmental maps (KER9).
