The main activities and achievements of the project are summarized below:
- WP1 focused on consolidating and refining the methodologies and indicators developed in the first reporting period. The PER methodology and associated KPIs were further validated using updated inputs from demo sites and integrated with ongoing technical developments. Results from baseline assessments and national declinations were used to support executive design phases and to ensure consistency across demonstrators. WP1 outputs in RP2 provided a stable methodological backbone for monitoring, assessment, and future scalability.
- WP2 advanced from conceptual design toward executive design and implementation support. Energy system configurations and technology packages were refined based on updated demo timelines and construction constraints. Detailed simulations and modelling activities were further developed to assess energy performance, renewable integration, and system optimization under real demo conditions. The results of D2.3 were actively used to inform design decisions, assess expected impacts, and support mitigation strategies related to delayed construction and reduced monitoring periods in some demo sites.
- WP3 activities in RP2 concentrated on the further development, integration, and testing of sensing technologies, IoT devices, and TCQi pltaform. Progress was made in integrating monitoring solutions with demo-specific requirements, including BEMS, IoT communication frameworks, and data interoperability across tools. Several software solutions reached a more mature development stage, with increased readiness for pilot deployment. The development of the platform has reached a very advanced stage, with a first demonstration already completed and the expectation of delivering the final product in the first part of the third reporting period.
- WP4 significantly expanded stakeholder engagement and participatory activities. Co-design workshops, design laboratories, and engagement processes were further implemented and the National working groups progressed, and social perception and acceptance activities were strengthened to support demo implementation and replication. Preparatory and coordination activities for construction and renovation continued, with Spain and Romania advancing on-site, while mitigation strategies were explored for delayed demo sites in Estonia and Austria.
- WP6 ensured continuous technical, financial, and administrative coordination throughout RP2. Regular consortium meetings, steering committees, and General Assemblies supported alignment across work packages and timely decision-making. Risk management activities were updated, including the revision of existing risks, identification of new risks, and monitoring of materialized risks, particularly those related to demo delays and monitoring constraints. Financial coordination, ethics oversight, and data management activities continued in line with Grant Agreement requirements.
