A ranking of salt hydrates with hydration / dehydration reactions within the temperature range.

Several salt-hydrate types will be developed and analyzed for the purpose of this project, each aiming at a certain temperature range of heat delivery. A ranking (from best to worst) of these salt hydrates with hydration/dehydration reactions within the desired temperature range will be presented in this report.

Communication and dissemination plan

A communication and dissemination plan is a report that sets out a strategy to maximize the impact of the project, increase its visibility, and ensure that project outputs reach a wide audience of relevant stakeholders, especially those already identified as critical ones in different sectors.

Impact assessment plan

This is a report presenting the plans considered for doing the required assessments on the impacts of the project and its technology on different sectors and different stakeholders.

Report of the developed dynamic model of the final configuration of the system

This is a report on the dynamic modeling and transient operation behavior of the final configuration of the system developed out of simulations and optimizations.

Project management handbook

This is the project management handbook. This is to guide the team in the performance of its duties, which are the design, construction, and completion of a project to the required specifications within the approved parameters of the contract budget and to schedule.

Communication and dissemination activity interim

This is an interim report on the planned and conducted (as we go ahead in the project) dissemination and communication activities.

First/final reactors’ heat and mass transfer results

This will be a report on the first/final reactors’ heat and mass transfer results out of all the simulations, optimizations, and experiments conducted.

Report of use case analyses and benchmarkings

The project has some use cases and some benchmark technologies to be compared to. This report presents the results of the techno-economic simulations on the performance of the developed technologies in the use cases and a comparison of that to those related to the competing technologies.

Design layouts and simulation packages

This is a report including a bunch of drawing layouts, setpoint tables, simulation codes, etc. found for the optimal design of the system.

Final layout of the integrated heat upgrade system ready to be built at the test sites

This will be the layout of the demonstrator (integrated heat upgrade system including all the components) that is finalized out of the simulations and research activities to be built at the test sites.
