Questionnaires (si apre in una nuova finestra)

PPGIS will be elicited by developing questionnaires in order to identify how landscape is perceived and described by the people, (formulation of LQOs). The PPGIS will be designed using Google maps as a reference base and will be embedded in TOPIO website using hypertext markup language. The questionnaires will involve local people, members of local governments, people from tourist sector, college students, members of ecological organizations, farmers and all the people who have an attachment to the study areas. Among the various activities of Task 2.2, at least one meeting will be organised in each study area (M12) with the participation of the research team, experts and the locals so as to discuss issues such as: a) Identification of landscape boundaries, b) Confirm characteristics and character of each landscape type and c) Provide key information on local experience, perceptions and associations. Personal data collection will use a set of open-ended questions and a final survey questionnaire with socio-demographical and snowball sampling questions. These categories will include aesthetic/scenic, cultural heritage, education, recreational/touristic, social interaction/relations, special places, and spiritual/religious. In addition, naturalness will be also included as a guiding positive landscape value category because it is a critical perceptual factConclusively, the principal open-ended questions that will guide the questionnaires / interviews will have two main objectives: 1) to locate sites considered to have landscape values (positive and/or negative). In this approach the stakeholders will be divided in two teams: those that will have an initial access to landscape values typology as assessed from AB and experts (satellite-GIS derived maps) in WP5 and those that will be asked to respond to questions totally spontaneously.2) discuss the respondents' reasons for selecting these sites and their improvement proposals. The content of the questionnaires will be dynamically updated during the project according to the feedback.

Data Management Plan (si apre in una nuova finestra)

During the inauguration meeting, an elaborate detailed work plan, including meeting plan and division of work will be discussed and finalised. This plan will be updated throughout the project.

Project’s website (si apre in una nuova finestra)

This task is directly linked with D1.2. The website will be developed during the first 6 months of the project and then it will be continuously updated until the end of the project.
