Public report on the solubility & dissolution enthalpies of MSA salts as a function of T (si apre in una nuova finestra)

This is a public report on the solubility & dissolution enthalpies of MSA salts as a function of T, linked to T2.1.Task 2.1 Determination of solubility and dissolution enthalpies of MSA salts as a function of temperature ǀ (BASF) ǀ (M1-M18) ǀ MSA salts have a significantly higher solubility in water than sulphates. However, a comprehensive set of accurate data has not yet been reported in the scientific literature and, therefore, need to be measured for the first time. Ni, Co and Mn (and if required further types of) salts of MSA will be synthesized and characterised via dissolution of their oxides or if necessary via anodic/electrochemical dissolution of the pure metals in MSA. The metal salts will be checked for their maximum solubility in water at room temperature, 50°C, and 90°C. Enthalpies of dissolution in water will be measured via calorimetry.
