NARRATE technology roadmap

D8.2 reports on the activities that coordinate the technical work and monitor the technical evolution and progress of NARRATE diagnosing evolving market needs and continuously updating the main goals of the project as it is being carried out. It is related to T8.2 and will be updated in the different progress reports.

Architectural Requirements

Related to T1.4, D1.4 develops a reference architecture based on agile principles that contributes to resilient supply chain activities that meets the users' needs and expectations. It will promote a style that supports platform independence, open-source software and use of non-proprietary technologies.

End-to-end AI-driven visibility model & support DSS (a)

D4.2(a) develops knowledge models to represent the structure and relationships of the SMN based on extensions of the neuro-symbolic DSS in D3.3. These knowledge models provide a comprehensive view of the entire SMN, including suppliers, manufacturers, logistics providers, and customers. It is related to T4.2.

Energy efficiency & circularity

Related to T1.3, D1.3 addresses the requirements of assessing process circularity, energy efficiency, carbon footprint, industrial symbiosis and other sustainability aspects of the supply chain. It develops environmental and circularity KPIs in order to select the best procurement alternatives from the assessed suppliers.

Stakeholders engagement, Dissemination, communication & training plan

D7.1 defines the overall communication strategy and plan for the project, refining target audiences, key messages and channels. This deliverable includes a plan for the whole project, with major phases and specific activities to ensure an impactful engagement of stakeholders. It also presents an online discussion forum to support continuous learning.it is related to T7.1 and will be updated in the different progress reports.

Resilience Strategy & Tool (a)

Related to T2.1. D2.1(a) develops Resilience Strategies for ensuring the stability & continuity of smart manufacturing networks and understanding of disruptive threats, and classification of disruptive events.

Project Requirements

D1.1 defines the requirements of users of the AI Platform, software developers, pilot participants and other interested parties and each use case including business process specification, user stories including functional, operational and performance requirements. Related to T1.1

Pilot Analysis

D1.2 includes the planning and setting up of the pilots and scenarios including validation criteria and KPIs. A work plan and timeline will be developed to guide the pilots´ implementation being the basis for their validation in WP5. Related to T1.2

Digital Twin design & development (a)

D3.2 (a) designs a set of self-describing, actionable Digital Twin (DT) knowledge frames that leverage contextualized data in T3.1 and use advanced analytics & Machine Learning to model a smart manufacturing network. It is related to T3.2.

Resilience, Sustainability & Circularity Stress Testing Tool (a)

D4.1(a) develops a tool that identifies vulnerabilities and strengthens the SMN ecosystems resilience to minimize the impact of and recovery from unexpected events.

Technical progress report

This deliverable includes an update of all the technical work up to M9.

Pilot planning report - early pilot demonstrator (a)

D5.1 (a) defines the pilot trials and demonstrators´ requirements considering the distinctiveness of the scope of each industrial domain in the project to boost the early availability of the platform, arranging the necessary evaluation steps for testing, assessing and validating them.The deliverable is related to T5.1.

Design & implementation of Contextualization services (a)

D3.1(a) designs a context that faithfully represents production data and operational events spread across different production sites within a smart manufacturing network in a reusable structure grounded in open standards using data categorisation and metadata tagging.

Web-presence & online channels/portal

Related to T7.1, D7.2 establishes NARRATE’s branding (logo, fonts, colour palette), and presents the project’s website and social media channels (starting with YouTube and LinkedIn).
