Periodic Reporting for period 1 - COMPANION (COMmon Platform and Advanced INstrumentation ReadIness for ultra efficient propulsion demonstratiON)

COMPANION project is a Clean Aviation Phase 1 project which main objectives are:
- To define, design and prepare a common Flight Test Demonstrator (FTD) platform to enable the validation of ultra-efficient propulsion systems such as an Open Fan demonstrator and an hybrid electric Ultra High Bypass Ratio Turbofan demonstrator.
- To contribute to deliver the hardware of the flight test platform ready for engine installation, hosting standard and special flight test instrumentation to assess the demonstrator engines and measure related emissions.
- To initiate the process of flight clearance for the FTD with EASA support through a dedicated service contract.
