With the specific objective of promoting diverse forests and tailoring guidelines to regional and market needs, D2.1 will focus on species biodiversity value, timber quality, and harvesting thresholds for sustainable forest management.
Tracing single trees

In this report the aim is to describe and validate the developed approach for automated traceability oftrees from forest to product, using biometric and positional data. This will be based on the analysis in Task 4.1 aimed linking forestry data with mill outputs and ensures product origin, enhancing the efficiency and transparency of the wood supply chain.
