Obiettivo

In order to mitigate the environmental impact of maritime transport and to enhance the safety of HSC, SPIN will address three key areas.

- First, market and feasibility strategies for understanding the HSC potential in the Intermodal transport;

- Second, recommendations for technical and regulatory requirements for enhancing the safety and environmental compatibility as well as passengers' comfort of High Speed Craft shipping operations.

- Third, specifications of safer and environmentally compatible maritime infrastructures, including solutions to improve port operations, lower the wash effect intrusion in the environment and lastly organisational and policy frameworks for the integration of HSC in the logistics chain.
