Project description
Breaking barriers to AI implementation
The benefits of AI-based technologies are clear, with their potential to revolutionise a wide range of sectors. However, one major barrier to their widespread adoption is the need for expertise in coding to incorporate them into existing processes. Unfortunately, there is a limited number of coding experts available, leading to higher costs and barriers to implementation. To address this challenge, the EU funded sa.engine project aims to develop an end-to-end edge AI platform that would allow engineers, data scientists, and others without coding expertise to develop complex AI and analytics models with ease. This platform would enable companies and industries to generate more data and conduct crucial research, ultimately leading to further innovation and improved production processes.
Objective
We develop an end-to-end edge AI platform targeting Industry and Automotive. The platform enables data scientists, engineers, and domain experts with limited coding skills to interactively develop advanced real-time AI and Analytics models for various edge devices and microcontrollers/MCUs. Our core technology and the platform we develop are based on extensive academic research performed by our co-founder Professor Emeritus, Tore Risch and associates.
We enable large industrials to bring edge AI solutions to market faster, more efficiently and with scale compared to other solutions.
To date we have done ten PoCs with industrials generating feedback for continued development of our platform. We have significant work to do to develop the platform to a readiness level where we can accelerate our commercialization and bring in the next funding round to scale internationally.
We are a team of 15 ppl - experienced engineers and serial entrepreneurs with the ability to execute on our plans.
