Exploitable results
The project concerned the development of an open system to support quality management and performance measurement in libraries of all types, based on a client-server architecture offering compatibility with library systems from various library suppliers. EQLIPSE has major benefits for libraries by introducing them to a toolbox approach to both performance measurement and quality management techniques. It will enable European libraries to take a world lead in the utilization of information technology (IT) in library management support in the areas of decision making and efficiency.
