Report on need for evidence support

The report will present the outcomes of the work on objectives 1 and 2, and include the ‘mapping document’ corresponding to objective 1, and the recommendations for the SILNE-R project corresponding to objective 2.

Final report with recommendations

This final report with recommendations will be developed under objective 3, final step. This report will also include 1 or 2 draft papers for international scientific journals.

Report on review and general models

This report presents the results of the additional realist review, and on the models developed under objective 3.

Report on literature review and methods to be used

This deliverable will report on the literature review and the outline of the new method of “realist economic evaluation”.

Report on cross-national differences

The report will provide the first descriptive results. Particular attention will be given to differences in outcomes between schools and cities/countries.

Report on interviews with local-level policy makers

The report will document the methods and the results of the interviews with local-level policy makers. Special emphasis is given to how the processes and determinants that influenced policy makers’ decision making varied between the 7 cities.

Report on international cost study

The report will document the methodology and the results of the cost study. Special emphasis is given to how the program costs varied between the 7 countries/cities.

Report on literature review on school level policies

This deliverable will report on the review of factors and processes that influence the implementation of tobacco control policies at local levels.

Second report on meetings with consultation groups

The report will include the minutes to the third series of meetings at national levels and international levels. The minutes will be translated into English. Again, the report will include an introductory text that summarises the main conclusions regarding the project results, the key recommendations as identified by stakeholders, and suggestions dissemination and exploitation.

General overview of focus group discussion results

In this report, a general overview will be presented of the results of the analyses. This report will also include about 4 draft papers for international scientific journals. These articles are based on deliverables 9.2 (two articles) and 9.3 (two articles).

Final report with impact estimates

This report will complement the previous report by presenting impact estimates. This report will also include 2 draft papers for international scientific journals. These articles are based on deliverables 4.2 and 4.3, respectively.

Report on survey design

The report will document the design of the survey, including the new questionnaire, the recruitment procedures, and promotion materials.

Final report on integrated evidence on national level policies

This report will present a comprehensive view of factors and processes that influence the adoption and implementation of tobacco control policies. This report will also include 5 draft papers for scientific journals, based on deliverables 5.1 (two articles), 5.2 (one article) and 5.3 (two articles).

Report on literature review on national level policies

The report will include a summary of the various theoretical perspectives on implementation of tobacco control policies, and the review of contextual factors identified in relation to the various tobacco control measures.

Report with general overview

In this report, a general overview will be presented of the results of this survey. This report will also include about 5 draft papers for international scientific journals. These articles are based on deliverables 8.2 (three articles) and 8.3 (two articles).

Final report on integrated evidence on school-level policies

In this report, previous theories or models on the implementation of tobacco control policies/programs at the school level will be discussed and refined according to the evidence gathered in this WP. This report will also include about 4 draft papers for international scientific journals. These articles are based on deliverables 7.1 (one article), 7.3 (two articles) and 7.4 (one article).

Report on field work of focus group discussions

The report will report on the design and field work, including the recruitment procedures, topic lists, training of interviewers, and transcript preparation.

Report on methods and field work

The report will document the methods and some preliminary results of the interviews with school staff members.

Final report on integrated evidence on local level policies

This report will discuss previous theories or models on the implementation of tobacco control strategies at local levels. Existing models will be refined according to the evidence gathered in this WP. This report will also include about 5 draft papers for international scientific journals. These articles are based on deliverables 6.1 (one article), 6.2 (two articles), 6.3 (one article) and 6.4 (one article).

Report on interviews with national-level policy makers

The report documents the methods and results of interviews with national-level policy makers.

Final report on integrated cost estimates

In this report, the results of this WP will be integrated in a form that facilitates its use in WP2 and WP3. This report will also include about 4 draft papers for international scientific journals. These articles are based on deliverables 10.2 (two articles) and 10.3 (two articles).

Report on general response patterns

The report will document how adolescents respond to tobacco policies and programmes as implemented in their school and city.

First report on meetings with consultation groups

The report will include the minutes to the first and second meetings at national levels (one pair for each country) and international levels (another pair). The minutes will be translated into English. The minutes will be accompanied by an introductory text that summarises the main conclusions from these consultation meetings, and the implications of these for the further research in SILNE-R.

Report on literature review on local level policies

The report will document the review of factors and processes that influence the implementation of tobacco control policies at local levels.

Report on scope and general structure of models

This report corresponds to the objective 1 above. It includes outlines of “models of change”.
