Intuitive Self-Inspection Techniques using Augmented Reality for construction, refurbishment and maintenance of energy-efficient buildings made of prefabricated components

Risultati finali

Guidelines for self-inspection in refurbishment

This is a result from task T1.1, and it presents INSITER Methodology for existing buildings.

Training modules and pilot training courses

This is a result from task T6.1, which also includes a Learning Content Management System.

Field validation report and recommendations

This is a result from task T5.2, which comprises the documentation and reports on the field validation. The report will show the final performance of the buildings and the positive impact of self-inspection addressing the following aspects: building physics analysis (e.g. U-value, sound insulation ); reliability of structure; preferred materials and their assembly demands; and indoor climate.

Case study elaboration, field validation protocols, and equipment calibration

This is a result from task T52 which contains the description of the use cases for the purpose of field validation of the prototype INSITER Systems and Methodology

Calculation and analytical methods for MEP/HVAC components

This is a result from task T13 and it describes conceptual measurement protocols and quantitative method for selfinspection of MEPHVAC components It focuses on selfinspection of critical MEPHVAC components that affect quality and energy performance in all phases of a building project

Best practices and existing shortcomings

This is a result from task T11 and it critically reviews the stateoftheart procedures and describes innovative ways for selfinspection quality assurance and energyperformance check

Dissemination and exploitation plans

This is a result from task T6.3. The outlined and intended content are described in DoA addressing dissemination and exploitation intentions. The first version of the plans (public) will be delivered in M3, but they will continuously be updated until the project completion in M48. The final exploitation plan related to the business plan will be confidential (CO).

Recommendations for standardisation

This is a result from task T6.1. Reflection will be made on existing guidelines and standards to extend the preliminary list. Targeted standardisation areas –including building engineering and energy, quality management, ICT and BIM, as well as procurement.

Integrated field demonstration report

Including set-up and results of demonstration activities involving stakeholders at real cases. This is a combined deliverable of the original D5.5 and D5.6. The content and coverage remain the same.

Calculation and analytical methods for building components

This is a result from task T12 and it focuses on selfinspection of critical building components that affect quality and energyperformance

BIM-based self-instruction models for mobile devices

This is a result from task T4.2, which will be developed in conjunction with the training modules in WP6/T6.1 –self-instructions for improvement of worker’ knowledge and skills.

Measuring and diagnosis solutions for inspecting MEP/HVAC components

This is a result from task T1.3, and it presents the practical measurement protocols supported by hardware and software tools for self-inspection of MEP/HVAC components. It presents practical techniques (protocols) supported by hardware and software for self-inspection in all phases of a building project.

Lab test report and recommendations

This is a result from task T51 which will conclude the lab an virtual tests and present recommendations for improvement and validation of the prototype INSITER Systems and Methodology

Measuring and diagnosis solutions for inspecting building components

This is a result from task T1.2, and it presents practical techniques using hardware and software tools for self-inspection of building components.

Guidelines for self-inspection in new construction

This is a result from task T1.1, and it presents INSITER Methodology for new buildings.

Cross-case analysis and benchmarking

This deliverable also describes the industry’s views on practicality and affordability of INSITER tools and methods. After the original D5.6 is removed, this present deliverable will be the new D5.6.

Lab test protocols and set-up

This is a result from task T51 which will serve as guidelines to carry out the lab test activities and analysis of the findings

Functional requirements and integration architecture of applications for process, planning and cost

This is a result from task T31 which will serve as the underpinning for further software development addressing planning and cost management

Functional requirements and integration architecture of applications for building quality and energy assessments

This is a result from task T32 which will serve as the underpinning for further software development addressing building quality and energy performance

Framework for BIM, hardware and software data inter-operability

This is a result from task T42 which address data interoperability between different types of hardware instruments for measurement incl their firmware middleware software tools and BIM

Communication materials and public relations

This is a result from task T62 The types of dissemination items are described in the DoA as part of the preliminary dissemination plan The first materials eg leaflets templates will be available starting from M3 but the work will continue as new dissemination materials will be delivered and updated until the project completion in M48

Public and consortium websites

This is a result from task T62 The websites will be delivered and fulloperational in M3 and they will be updated until the project completion in M48
