Initial review of standards and policies

Summary report on main policies and standards impacting synchro-modality and the use of smart steaming. This deliverable will consist of a public document (PU) and a more detailed confidential document (CO) - the initial results are expected at m6.

Standardisation and policy recommendations

D7.3 will provide regular reports on the standardisation activities of the project as well as co-operation with standardisation bodies and policy recommendations. Intermediate results will be at m18, m36 and the final deliverable will be at m42. Some results will be public (PU) others confidential (CO)

D1.2a Stakeholder Requirements Analysis

D1.2a Stakeholder Requirements Analysis (DHL) internal version m6 Report on initial findings (m6) to be used as input to the Stakeholder Assessment Methodology and final report summarising Stakeholder Requirements (m12) These will include a public version (PU) and more detailed confidential versions (CO)

Evaluation & Success Stories

D6.5 will provide the consolidated evaluation report for all 3 demonstrators for phase 1 ( initial results m30) and phase 2(m42) including: 1. Consolidation of results from the demonstrators using project evaluation methodology (WP6). 2. Conclusions from the 3 large scale demonstrators and recommendations for key improvements on smart steaming, International freight and synchro-modal practices across Europe. 3. Impact evaluation with specific reference to programme objective and EU eFreight and other relevant policies 4. Success Stories that will act as detailed Case Studies for exploitation of SYNCHRO-NET, feeding into WP7 activity. A public summary will be delivered (PU) and a more detailed confidential one presented to reviewers (CO).

Community Communication Programme m24

T7.2 will provide annual reports on the membership and activities of the SYNCHRO-NET Community. D7.2 will also provide a communication plan (including two-way communication activities & a dissemination plan) and regular reports on: • Annual conferences and stakeholder roundtable meetings. • Communication interactive articles/blogs • Dissemination articles and scientific papers. Some of these events will be public (PU) others confidential (CO).

East-West Demonstrator

D6.2 will provide the demonstrator of SYNCHRO-NET solutions for the import/export operation through the Port of Valencia and related ports and inland terminals in Spain. The final deliverable at m39 (to be reviewed at m42) will include the summary of results of the end-user tests and report on the validation of SYNCHRO-NET models and tools. This demonstrator will have a public version(PU) and a detailed/longer confidential demonstration (CO)

Pan European Demonstrator

D6.4 will provide the demonstrator of SYNCHRO-NET solutions using short sea routes, rail and inland waterway routes for major shippers and transport providers operating across Europe and nearby territories. The final deliverable at m39 will include the summary of results of the end-user tests and report on the validation of SYNCHRO-NET. This demonstrator will have a public version (PU) and a more detailed/longer confidential demonstration (CO)

Regional Demonstrator

D6.3 will provide the demonstrator of SYNCHRO-NET solutions and analysis for a major manufacturing operation based in Ireland. The final deliverable at m39 will include the summary of results of the end-user tests and report on the validation of SYNCHRO-NET models and tools/services. This demonstrator will have a public version (PU) and a more detailed/longer confidential demonstration (CO)

SYNCHRO-NET Web Portal & Observatory

D7.1 will provide a unique SYNCHRO-NET website (updated regularly) which will be the public face of the project and SYNCHRO-NET’s Community focal point. The website will also have a private zone which will serve as the support for project management and document repository (to be access by SYNCHRO-NET partners and the Advisory Board). D7.1 will also provide the SYNCHRO-NET Maritime & Synchro-modal Logistics Information & Technology Observatory which will provide up-to-date information in all aspects relevant to the project. This development will have intermediate internal results at m6, m12, m24, m36 and a final deliverable at m42
