Leistungen

ESR 1 contributes an integrated social cleaning and enrichment solution. ESR 2 contributes a QA-specific extension of the quality assessment and quality-driven crawling services for datasets. ESR 3 contributes novel alignment/merge algorithm for big cross-domain datasets. ESR 5 contributes an integrated indexing, alignment and linking tool for dynamic datasets. ESR 7 contributes the key component for the OpenQA (with ESR 8), interweaving suitable stateof- the-art NER, disambiguation, query construction and reasoning tools. ESR 8 contributes the key component for the OpenQA (with ESR 7) and a web-based QA pipeline generation wizard ESR 9 contributes a data-aware entity disambiguation/contextualisation module. ESR 10 contributes a module combining data analysis techniques adapted for QA with state-of-the-art presentation tools. ESR 11 contributes a module combining visualisation, verbalisation and data retrieval tools.

OpenQA demonstrator

ESR13, who himself/herself works on the end-user-centered dialog flow feature, takes responsibility for evolving the other ESRs' modules on top of the OpenQA core platform from D4.2 into a complete, self-contained demonstrator.

Final field evaluation reports

The OpenQA platform and its components are evaluated in application settings defined in collaboration with the application partners. ESR 4 evaluates link discovery w.r.t. users’ trust. ESR 9 evaluates the precision of entity disambiguation/contextualisation in voice and natural language input. ESR 10 evaluates the output comprehensibility and conciseness of answers and justifications. ESR 12 evaluates the usability of the interactive disambiguation workflows. ESR 13 evaluates the usability of the dialogue flow implementation. ESR 14 evaluates the usability of the visual data exploration and discovery tool.
