Case studies of the field trials

The system will be extensively in the field to validate and demonstrate its performance under real operational conditions for the real-time measurement of fumigants and toxic industrial chemicals in cargo containers. Results will be correlated against reference off-line or on-line methods where available. Performance criteria including limits of detection, processing speeds, response times, ease of use of the instrument, etc. will be reported. This testing will involve parallel trials using the IRON system vs. current ‘best-in-class’ at-line and off-line analytical methods to validate the effectiveness of the proposed system for its ability to reliably detect low levels (ppb) of multi-gases in real-time.

Test report on compliance to standards and instrument level functionality

The functionality and performance of the integrated system is tested with the UI software. Compliance against the selected standards is also tested with the instrument.

The modules tested at 5.1 are integrated into a complete system and functionally tested with the test application created in 5.2. The performance of the system is tested against the specifications and requirements with the created test application.

On-line catalogue of publications, articles and press releases

An on-line catalogue of all papers, articles, press releases will be available from the web page. The tradeshows, conferences and other events that GASERA will be participating in during the 24 months as well as during the commercialisation phase will be planned and appropriate dissemination for IRON will be implemented.

Communications Toolbox

A communication plan will be elaborated and communication tools and materials will be developed (webpage, powerpoint presentations, leaflets, posters, press releases, articles for the GASERA newsletter, etc.), which will be housed in an electronic repository in the webpage. A communication campaign will be implemented in line with the Communication plan.
