First version of MOOC

The multidisciplinary background of the participants as well as the critical mass of the participating graduate students are going to be capitalized by creating a massive online open course (MOOC) on 5G wireless networks. This will be the first version of MOOC developed in the project.

Second version of MOOC

Based on the feedback and newly obtained results within the project MOOC will be updated and a second version will be prepared.

Final version of MOOC

Based on the feedback and the overall results of the project a final version of MOOC will be prepared.

Midterm report on dissemination activities

The consortium members will disseminate information generated in the course as conference presentations, tutorials, and archival journal publications. The dissemination activities within the first half of the project will be summarised in this report.

Report on Short Block Coding

The state of the art on short block length coding and machine-type communications will be described. The new method and apparatus developed in the project will be explained and analysed by taking QoE and energy efficiency as appropriate performance measures.

Report on Suite of Protocols for Ultra Dense Networks

The state of the art on networking in ultra dense systems will be described. The new methods and apparatus developed within the project will be explained and analysed by using QoE and energy efficiency as appropriate performance measures.

Final report on dissemination activities.

The consortium members will disseminate information generated in the course as conference presentations, tutorials, and archival journal publications. The dissemination activities within the project will be summarised in this report.

Report on Green Communications

The state of the art on green communications technologies in cellular and wireless networks will be described. The newly developed method and apparatus for improving the energy efficiency of 5G networks will explained by analysing their effects on Quality of Experience of users.

Report on QoE in 5G networks

The state of the art of Quality of Experience based methods and apparatus in cellular and wireless next generation networks will be explained. The new methods and apparatus developed in the project will be described and their energy efficiency will be analysed.
