"During the project the Edurio platform has been developed to best fit school network requirements. This has included a number of technical innovations pushing it far ahead of the current state-of-art technologies available for the network leaders. Our system architecture uniquely enables multi-level distribution of insights (network leaders, school leaders, teachers) and automatic analytics that help non-data experts interpret the data without using additional analytics tools. These include flexible data matrices, time period comparison and filtering/benchmarking, never until now available in an integrated system for schools and school networks. We have also laid the groundwork for further analytic approaches by developing a reliability filter, custom respondent tagging and started work on improved methodologies for feedback collection.
The impact from this project has been material for improving education within Europe and beyond with over 1000 schools being able to learn from their students, parents and teachers, and improve the quality of education they provide.
“We have undertaken surveys internally until this year. The support offered to us by Edurio this year has taken our staff survey to a different level. We have been able to still use our previous data to benchmark but their software and platform has enabled us to take our analysis to a much higher level. In particular, the visual impact of the data analysis is outstanding. We look forward to working with them again in future years.” Chris Tweedale, CEO GEP Academies
""This is one of the best things we've done in terms of having real impact on learner outcomes and helping schools take improvement actions."" Dominic Norrish, COO United Learning
The project allowed us to reach more than 850 000 students, parents and teachers combined. Moreover, by the end of the project we managed to collect more than 23 million survey answers. The magnitude to which we have been able to test, validate and build our business in such a conservative market as education and in such a short amount of time would not have been possible without the Horizon 2020 project."
