Algorithms and software components for identifying and modeling users’ preferences based on their viewing behavior

Hyper360 Production Techniques

This deliverable will describe the final Hyper360 production technologies and algorithms implementing the 360 and 3D content production, fusion and quality analysis. Details about each tool's design and architecture will be presented.

Preliminary Production Techniques

This deliverable will describe the technical progress with respect to the Hyper360 production technologies, outlining the preliminary algorithms developed for 360 and 3D content production, fusion and quality analysis.

Audience Assessment Framework

Based on the results of T2.2 a protocol and assessment framework will be defined. This framework will define all the parameters related to user acceptance and will lay out a plan how to evaluate these.

Requirements and Scenarios

This deliverable will describe the scenarios derived from task 2.1 that will be explored to extract concrete users' requirements

Automatic Camera Path and Player Technology

Document describing algorithms and implementation of the automatic camera path generation in omnidirectional/360 videos and the player technology for animated camera move during playback.

Preliminary Media Graphs, Profiling and Recommendation Engine

This deliverable will describe the preliminary technologies for media graphs and profiling, and outline the recommendation engine's design. Details about the algorithms used within these concepts will be offered.

Preliminary Player Technology

First version of a player for 360° video supporting automatic camera paths, multi-viewport viewing, fused content.

Dissemination and Communication Plan

The document will describe how the project will communicates with the outside world and will specifically address awareness raising amongst the target groups. Alongside with a detailed definition of target groups, the strategy will include an in-depth analysis of the communication channels tailored for these target groups.

Media Navigation Graph Techniques and Recommendation Engine

Media graphs for 360 video to further extend the naturally rich content of omnidirectional media

Complete set of Hyper360 Apps, and delivery mechanism

A fully integrated set of Hyper360 Apps, and delivery mechanisms based on standard formats will be designed and developed.

Capturing Tools

Reference document for broadcasters to help with the selection of 360 equipment for various purposes, describing pros and cons of different alternatives.

Project Website and Community of Practice

The website will provide useful information to the project's stakeholders. and will be integrated with the Community of Practice connectng to existing social networks in which Hyper360 partners and stakeholders already participate. Furthermore, the CoP will include itself social networking features to facilitate the interaction between members and will be provide a content management system which will be the backbone for creating and sharing curated collections of documents and posts.

First set of Hyper360 Apps and delivery mechanism

Document describing the features and tests/applications of the core Hyper360 player technology, called OmniPlay.

1st Data Management Plan

This document will indentify all relevant ethical and legal issues concerning user data acquisition, user data management, and personalisation strategies and describe and explain the consortium's policies in dealing with these.
