SURE-RIDER Boats are a revolutionary type of boat equipped with the ÖK Hull, a new patented hull design, that dramatically reduces motion responses (MR) such as vibration and slamming during navigation, often also referred to as Whole Body Vibration (WBV), which causes discomfort to crew and passengers of every sea-journey and often leads to injuries. Marine sectors affected by WBV include military, search & rescue, government agencies, local authority, police, wind farm, oil & gas, thrill-ride, charter, and all organizations operating High Speed Crafts.
The Recreational Boat Market, with over 6 million boats in Europe, demands more and more increased working area so as to transport more passengers. Yachts and Mega Yachts over 500 gross tonnage are compelled by the SOLAS 5 convention to be equipped with Rescue Boats. Owners of these yachts are requesting the possibility of using their yacht-tenders as SOLAS-approved Rescue Boats, which will be solved through using our SURE-RIDER Boats which implies:
1) Reduction of vibration and slamming, and consequently decreasing of crew fatigue and injuries; 2) Increased comfort during pleasure cruising even in the roughest seas; 3) Reduction of the vessel´s mechanical fatigue and thereby its maintenance cost.

In this Feasibility Study we have analyzed the implementation of our new SURE-RIDER Boats based on the Ök Hull patented technology. We have carried out research and analysis concerning various fields, with technical, financial and commercial aspects, including the following main tasks: 1) Market Analysis; 2) Development Roadmap; 3) Partner search; 4) Implementation Plan and 5) Project Management.
