Study on the effect of organic and inorganic additive on discharge behaviour (v1)The detramental effects of ZnO dentrites to the performance of RFB will be avoided by investigating the effect of the addition of inorganic additives (i.e. CaO or MgO), polymers as well as surfactants.
Test rig with in-situ measurement of bromine crossover and locally resolved current density measurementsBromine crossover will be analysed in the anode exhaust where bromine ions will be measured with spectroscopic techniques. The segmented cell which is developed at ICT for vanadium based RFBs will be implemented to hydrogen bromine system in order to anaylse the current distrubitoon across the electrode.
