RF-gated SET device theory

Models for microwave-TI interaction in devices

Develop a theoretical tool to model how microwave radiation interacts with TINR devices with terminals. A report will be uploaded to the project data repository.

Theory for interaction of TIs in near field SPM

Develop a theoretical tool to model the interaction of high frequency radiation in TINRs for near field SPM applications as outlined in T2.6. This effort will be supported by US. A report will be uploaded to the project data repository.

Theory: band gap engineering for RF applications

Theoretical modelling for outlining targeted materials properties for single charge TINR device applications A report will be uploaded to the project data repository

Organise and hold an International Symposium to disseminate knowledge by inviting leading scientists, young academics, industry, and the EC.

Measurements on TIs coupled to resonators

Report on microwave reflectometry measurements of TINR placed in a superconducting resonator. Relevant data will be uploaded to project data repository.

Measurements of RF-gated SET device

Report on transport measurements of devices from D3.12. Relevant data will be uploaded to project data repository.

2-port nanoscale microwave imaging

Develop capability of two-port microwave measurements of nano-devices using a cryogenic probe-station. Validate by measuring the microwave transmission of a conducting substrate. Relevant data and a short report will be uploaded to project data repository.

Report: feasibility of high frequency TI-devices

Summarise the technical knowledge obtained so far and evaluate the feasibility of developing high frequency TIdevices All partners will contribute with their respective expertise to this deliverable The report will be uploaded to the project data repository
