Refine prototype and define principles for scaling the model across a broad range of European countries.

The developed prototype will be refined and principles for scaling the model across a broad range of European countries defined Multimedia package material will be provided including a a few films showing the concept how to host a dialogue forum and impact statements b artefacts for the forum and policy making canvass facilitators guides templates etc

Methods document for policy scan

A document will be prepared to make publicly available methodology for a global and targeted European policy scan.

Implementation and evaluation plans (in local languages) from each of the five case countries

A protocol with an overall evaluation framework and a guide on developing implementation and evaluation plans will be developed. The fieldworkers of the five countries will be trained and guided in the use of these protocols before developing implementation and evaluation plans for 1-3 selected co-created obesity-related policy interventions in their countries.

Criteria for benchmarking policies and a policy index

A set of criteria for benchmarking policies and a policy index to assess overall “policy status” of a country in the areas of promoting healthy diets and physical Activity will be provided.

Develop and test prototype of a dialogue forum in Norway

Documentation on the developed model for the WP-6 dialogue forums will be provided. The prototype will be tested in Norway.

A system dynamic model (knowledge repository)

A system dynamics core model will be developed based on a review of existing public health models and previous systems approaches to childhood obesity, a consensus map drawing on all the system maps made in WP4, a translation of the consensus map into a stock and flow diagram, and quantification of the diagram using values from the literature and WP3.

A questionnaire for measuring attitudes/ readiness for action towards policy measures to combat childhood obesity

A questionnaire for measuring attitudes/ readiness for action towards policy measures to combat childhood obesity will be prepared as part of the evaluation work. The questionnaire will be pretested with the target groups in each case country before implementation.

Physical activity policy framework

A physical activity policy framework will be outlined, to provide a basis for the physical activity policy monitoring tool.

Second batch of practice abstracts

"The resulting innovative knowledge and easy accessible end-user material from this project will feed into the EIP-AGRI (The agricultural European Innovation Partnership) website for broad dissemination. The end-user material to be produced contains a substantial number of summaries for practitioners in the EIP common format (""practice abstracts""), including the characteristics of the project (e.g. contact details of partners, etc). A full package of practice abstracts will be produced by the project, containing all the outcomes/recommendations which are ready for practice.A ""practice abstract"" is a short summary of around 1000-1500 characters (word count – no spaces; see below) which describes the main information/recommendation/practice that can serve the end-users in their daily practice. Guidance and templates for these practice abstracts are available on the EIP-AGRI web site: http://ec.europa.eu/eip/agriculture/en/content/eip-agri-common-format. A total target number of 16 practice abstracts is foreseen for the second batch."
