Report on strategic design and usage of participatory solutions and relevant digital tools in support of NBS uptake

This deliverable reports on the assessment of URBiNAT’s portfolio of participatory solutions, and available digital solutions and platforms.

"Report analysing best policy practice presenting a ""map"" of measures and actions recommended in support of business and value creation from NBS for different circumstances"

This document includes reflection for the role of policy, in order to derive policy recommendations for the replication and scaling of the most marketable and bankable NBS solutions, how to replicate and scale the most successful NBS under varying circumstances.

Report on community-driven processes to co-design and co-implement NBS

This deliverable reports on what are the most suitable and accessible participatory solutions to co-design and co-implement NBS: formal / informal / digital methodologies and tools, according to the participatory culture of each city.

Roadmap for NBS and healthy corridors planning and implementation

This report will focus on the methodology for the co-creation of local urban plans incorporating NBS and Healthy Corridors. The document includes NBS proposals as well as guidelines for co-planning, co-designing and coimplementing the innovative concept in local projects, taking into account also the diffe-rent scales. In this sense, this deliverable reports the results of the co-design, co-implementation and co-evaluation of the Healthy Corridors in the front-runners and follower cities in order to support future replication of the URBiNAT products – the Healthy Corridor and the URBiNAT NBS catalogue

Assessment reports on progress, results and insights for the combination of methods, citizen engagement, and usage of digital tools (Y5)

This deliverable reports on the assessment and results of combining different methods for amplifying participatory solutions and their respective impacts.

Proceedings of workshops on the selection of business cases for replication and scaling in follower cities

Document examining the characteristics of each of the follower cities to determine the potential for replication and scaling of NBE solutions. Proceedings of the open invitation workshops which will be organized in order to determine and point to challenges and opportunities that have already been targeted and resolved in frontrunner cities, as well as to identify the most marketable solutions, to identify and evaluate how the NBS is related with local community needs, and how the citizens could engage.

Compilation and analysis of human rights and gender issues (Y2/Y3)

This report will compile and analyze human rights and gender issues in the scope of URBINATs planning implementation and evaluation of activities on a regular basis based on consultations to the scientific commission and to the multistakeholders advisory board

Scientific report on the establishment of an EU-wide reference framework for NBS

This deliverable is a scientific report that present the critical results of the effectiveness and correlation between concepts, methods, results and impacts achieved, collected throughout the process of NBS implementation,. Including the citizens' assessment of the results obtained. the objective is support the establishment of a eu-wide reference framework. This document ensures the full participation of the community, as it identifies the citizens' assessment of the results obtained. It seeks to build a frame of reference that brings together scientific knowledge and community knowledge. These process and deliverable will emerge from the interaction with citizen involved in the general assembly and multi-stakeholder and advisory board.

Compilation and analysis of human rights and gender issues (Y5)

This report will compile and analyze human rights and gender issues in the scope of URBINAT’s planning, im-plementation and evaluation of activities on a regular basis based on consultations to the scientific commission and to the multi-stakeholders’ advisory board.

Diagnosis report for each follower city

These diagnosis reports will generally describe the local conditions for the projects development including the local full mappings of identified deprived areas in each city baselines of local challenges mapping community assets and urban capital identifying particular contexts participatory local cultures and existing initiatives local needs and expectations at different levels mapping and evaluating existing NBS identifying indicators baselines of market potentials for NBS mapping of mechanisms in place to recognize and promote rights and results of the potential risks for the environment assessment

Short report on scientific publications

This deliverable will describe the scientific publications realised by URBiNAT researchers’ members.

Participatory Handbook for NBS

This deliverable corresponds to a report about the methodologies and techniques in the participatory process, tested throughout the URBiNAT project. It is expected that the results of the assessment on the methods and impacts of participatory solutions (D3.6) will provide the elements and foundations for the design of participatory process models associated with the NBS implementation. Articulation, integration and “interface” between participatory process with the other NBS: territorial, technological, social, and solidarity economy. This combination, whose connecting element happens through participation, is the platform for more sustainable, fair and democratic NBS.

Research report on health effects and impact on well-being of nature-based solutions

This deliverable reports the critic analyses about the information collected, throughout the process of NBS implementation, to determine the value of NBS for the local community.

NBS implementation strategy

This deliverable is dedicated to the coimplementation strategy of the healthy corridors in the three frontrunner cities in the frame of task 46 Firstly the Healthy Corridor HC concept D42 will be developed as an urban project by the city urban planning office Porto Nantes and Sofia and by the local partner ICETACIBIO CNRSIRSTV UASG with the participation of the citizens The cities will contract consultants to support the project if needed and will contract facilitators to develop the codesign process The horizontal partners that developed the HC Concept task 44 and its NBS task 42 will coordinate the urban project Secondly the urban project task 24 and 45 will be built by the municipality of Porto Nantes and Sofia that will promote the public tenders to select private construction companies The municipality will supervise the HC construction with the support of the local partner The local partner will support the costs related to the development and supervision of the HC urban project The technological NBS will be built by IAAC Cities will provide the infrastructures necessary to its implementation The deliverable will be an urban project and the construction of the HC

Report identifying market potential for different NBS solution, determine criteria for selection of NBS projects and shortlist of NBS projects in each of the three frontrunner cities

This document includes a description of the methodological aspects considered in the online research and in the development of the workshops based on community dialogues method

Dissemination package: basic set of dissemination material for the project

The dissemination package will include all the public documents generated by the project's team, a dissemination database and other dissemination materials updated subsequently by the day-to-day point of contact, at least, annually.

Diagnosis report for each frontrunner city

Evaluation report on the implementation, replicability and up-scaling of NBS

This deliverable reports the final outcomes of tools and guidelines for a sustainable implementation, replicability, and up-scaling of NBS in different contexts

Report presenting lessons of implementing smart digital tools in NBS, along with guidelines and manuals

This deliverable reports on data and insight on what works and does not work under different circumstances in terms of awareness creation citizen engagement and innovative usage of NBS

Local reports on multi-stakeholder meetings / events and partnerships formalised

These local reports will describe the dynamics of Living Labs through the 7 local collaborative platforms estab-lished; the 6X7 (42) intensive meetings/workshops on NBS and Healthy corridors conducted in local areas; 1 the created international platform for Living Labs experience exchange; the 2X7 (14) public meetings taking place in critical areas; and the 7 reports on clustering opportunities.

Urban plans - Frontrunner Cities

Three 3 urban plans for the establishment of the Healthy Corridor will be produced for URBiNAT frontrunner cities Porto Nantes Sofia 3 local proposals for the frontrunners will be implemented by the municipalities

Project for the Healthy Corridor Concept (Drawing, Models, Specifications) to sup-port Urban Plans

This deliverable reports a document that defines the conceptual strategy of Healthy Corridor to be developed in the task 24 by the frontrunners and followers cities in articulation with the local partners The document will be constituted by drawings 2D and 3D Models virtual and physical and technical specifications The WP4 partners will promote workshops in each city with local partners in order to discuss the project and to develop a codesigned process of the solution for each case study with all stakeholders

Social incubators and corresponding promoted initiatives

Implementation of incubators and / or similar spaces, in partnership with universities and research centres for technical assistance to the implementation of social and solidar-ity economy initiatives. Methodological process including training, self-management, cooperation, among others.

Report on pilot participatory workshop on community-driven process for the co-creation of healthy corridors and NBS

This deliverable reports on the results of the development of a pilot participatory workshopwhich will be the reference for conducting workshops in Living Labs for the identification of opportunities and codesign of NBS

Urban Plans - Follower Cities

D2.7 : Urban plans for followers [57]Urban plans for the establishment of the Healthy Corridor will be produced for follower cities - Nova Gorica, Høje-Taastrup, Siena, Bruxelles; although implementation of the urban plans is not a foreseen outcome within the project timeline, the team will seek to draft a Memorandum of Understanding (M48 to M57) with each follower city to ensure its implementation in the near future. The memorandum of understanding/agreement is not directly linked to the roadmap (D2.5). The memorandum of understanding/agreement between URBiNAT and the municipality aims to establish the principles and strategies of the urban plan that will integrate the future urban planning for the intervention area. The roadmap establishes the healthy corridor methodology and procedures in order to support future urban plans, namely in the observer cities of the non-european partners.

Ongoing monitoring and evaluation platform

This deliverable is the result from the implementation of a set of instruments to support the monitoring and evaluation of NBS implementation

Website and newsletter

This deliverable is the implementation of the website Besides spreading information about the project using the website a newsletter will be used both to target interested researchers and to serve as basis for communications with the public at large

Establishment of the Community of Practices CoP

The establishment of a Community of Practices is one of the main deliverables of URBINAT The CoP will be based on a methodology for coachingmentoringsharing through onetoone activities among frontrunner and follower cities and the creation of an international open platform on NBS with EU and nonEU partners

Portfolio of methods for operationalizing interactive communication in support of NBS uptake

Portfolio of methods structured for the purpose of engaging different target audiences through an interactive communication schemes in support of NBS

Data Management Plan

This plan, delivered by the Steering Committee, will reveal the expected data, how it will be collected, organized, described, analysed and stored, as well as the procedures that will be used during and after the end of the project to share and preserve this information.
