D4.2: Full API and Information Model Specification – (M22) This will be an extended and updated report with the full specification of the User-to-Cloud API, the Cloudto- Cloud API, and the definition of elements based on the NECOS slice, resource and service information model.

Complete report on validation and demonstration of the integrated plattform (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

D6.2 Complete report on validation and demonstration of the Integrated Platform - M24 This deliverable will report on inter-operability between all components and summarize all tests performed in the testbed. Moreover, testing scenarios of service framework software will be presented. These scenarios will be based on WP2 use cases and requirements presented in the WP3, WP4, and WP5 deliverables.

Provisional API and Information Model Specification (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

D4.1: Provisional API and Information Model Specification – (M10) This will be a report with the provisional specification of the User-to-Cloud API, the Cloud-to-Cloud API, and the definition of elements based on the NECOS slice, resource and service information model.

Report on design federated cloud environment (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

D6.1: Report on the design of federated cloud testing environment - M12 This deliverable will contain the description of the project testing environment including hardware to each island, control planes, potential software that must be deployed in this environment, the network requirements to inter-connect the federated testbed, and a report with requirements to deploy the LSDC over the FIBRE test bed.

NECOS system architecture and plattform specification V2 (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

D3.2: NECOS System Architecture and Platform Specification V2 – (M18) This deliverable will be the final version of the system and platform specification based also on the feedback provided by WP4, WP5 and potential project activities. All the development work packages will take this architecture as input in order to develop any new components if necessary, and refine and update existing components defined in D3.1.

Architectural update, Monitoring and control policies frameworks (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

The first objective of this deliverable will be to provide an updated version of the overall WP5 architectural design. In the sequence, this deliverable will be a report on the deployment of the monitoring and persistence framework, considering the adopted technologies for the SDI. This report will describe the abstraction levels in which the monitoring framework is capable of extracting statistics and how the framework supports dynamic adjustments in the frequency of statistics extraction and persistence. The outcome of this monitoring and persistence framework will be a pipeline of statistics to feed the Knowledge Plane. Finally, this deliverable will also describe the deployed framework for the control policies, detailing how policies can be specified and used for the management functions within WP5.

Intelligent Managment and orchestration (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

D5.2 Intelligent Management and Orchestration - M24 This deliverable may include minor updates to the overall WP5 architecture, based on the experience along the hands-on phase. At this deliverable, the WP5 will deliver the components responsible for management and orchestration of the federated cloud. Based on statistics from the infrastructure and slices, the Knowledge Plane will provide a richer set of information to support the provisioning of slices and, the most important, to support the orchestration functions. This deliverable will detail how the VM problems were addressed in WP5 and how the Machine Learning methods are used to estimate end-to-end service-level metrics. Finally, this deliverable will detail how the management and orchestration decisions are realized and the network and computing resources allocation occurs for a single domain and inter-domains.
