Nurses and care personnel increasingly struggle with administration and a shortage of personnel. This results in lower time that can be spent on caring for residents/patients. As elderly care organisations are consolidating rapidly, different data silos within an organisation is common. This leads to little overview on standard of care among the whole organisation.
The overall objective of the feasibility study will identify problems and opportunities in different European countries, determining if objectives and products need to be adjusted, and allow for successful outcomes in Phase 2. It will also generate leads, resellers and stakeholders through targeted market outreach.
A) Validation of the usability of features, user acceptance, sustainability of products in Belgium, France, Spain and Netherlands. Features which are still needed and are lacking today have been found for France, Spain and the Netherlands
B) Market studies towards customers, resellers and other relevant stakeholders has been completed for France, Spain, the UK and Southern Germany
C) The technical assessment shows that scalability will not be a problem in most countries (Spain, UK, France). However, for the German system, where elderly care residencies should keep data on local servers within an elderly care residence. Our cloud solutions could face very heavy oppositio by Germany's legal system. Other possible difficulties could be faced when setting up a finance component to the system, because every country is different in their legal setup of government finance to care residences, following the amount of patients with specific care needs. In a changing regulatory environment, Pridiktiv will not be able to follow every regulation and will look to develop a solution.
D) Regulatory and IP issues were studied for France and Spain. No blocking factors were discovered for the Pridiktiv products.
E) Strong follow-up opportunities were found for Spain regarding to integration partners and resellers
