Enhancing the innovation management capacity of SMEs in Normandy - EEN Normandy H2020

Periodic Reporting for period 1 - EEN Normandie H2020 (Enhancing the innovation management capacity of SMEs in Normandy - EEN Normandy H2020)

Berichtszeitraum: 2019-01-01 bis 2019-12-31

In 2019 again the consortium was unable to properly implement the work program on this activity.
This for 2 reasons:
- the absence of SME instruments cases allowing KAM cases to be flagged, an activity on which AD Normandie is positioned. There were no cases despite the work of the DA and its partners in promoting the program. an Info Day was carried out at the end of 2019, which, we hope, will spark new interests for 2020. However, the non-eligibility of phase 1 now raises fears of new project failures in 2020 in Normandy.
- a very high turnover at the CCI, in particular due to a social plan, had a strong impact on the activity pushing the dedicated people either to leave or to compensate for activities neglected by colleagues. Once again, H202 activity therefore suffered greatly. Only 1 colleague, Vincent Chapelain, was able to carry out his mission. He spent time training new colleagues and creating a project group, but, subject to sustainability in terms of human resources, the effects will not be felt until 2020.
The consortium was unable to achieve its initial objectives due to an absence of KAM cases and a significant turn-over, including departures from CCI Normandie.
The impact is small because of the small number of companies supported. However, the companies supported on EIMC are very satisfied with the support provided by EEN Normandie. For example, for the EIMC activities, companies reported that the delivery of the diagnosis was an important asset to financial organizations and partners for the company. This proves that the leader has taken into account the strategy and is well aware of the points to work to make new projects emerge recurrently.
