Förderung von Forschung, Entwicklung und Innovation in Lettland
Lettland ist seit 2004 Mitglied der Europäischen Union und Heimat einer kleinen, aber dynamischen und offenen Wirtschaft. Ziel des EU-finanzierten Projekts InnoSME-LV ist es, die Innovationskapazität des Landes zu stärken und so zu intelligentem Wachstum in der EU beizutragen. Das Projekt wird sich zu diesem Zweck darauf konzentrieren, die Effizienz und Effektivität von Investitionen in Forschung, Entwicklung und Innovation zu erhöhen und die Verbindung der Beteiligten entlang der Innovationskette zu verbessern. Die angebotenen Dienstleistungen sollen vom lettischen Technologiezentrum, dem Konsortialpartner von EEN Latvia, in der Region NUTS 1 in Lettland erbracht werden.
Ziel
The overall objective of the project is to contribute to smart growth in the European Union by increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of investments in research, development and innovation and by contributing to a better and more efficient connection of actors along the innovation chain. To achieve this objective the following measures are foreseen:
• To support SMEs, as the beneficiaries of the SME Instrument, FTI and FET-Open to identify bottlenecks to the creation of economic impact in companies benefiting from grants by Horizon2020's SME instrument and address these bottlenecks with the help of capable coaches;
• To increase the efficiency and effectiveness of innovation processes in small and medium sized enterprises with significant innovation activities that could potentially become beneficiaries of European support to research and innovation but would not have effective access to consulting services for innovation management.
In practice at least 9 (nine) specialised service packages will be delivered to SMEs to assist them in successful participation in the Horizon 2020 SME support instruments and increase their innovation management capacity beyond this programme.
The services addressed by the current proposal will be integrated in already existing Enterprise Europe Network services.
