Description du projet
School failure and early leaving are a key matter for the development of our children and of our society due to their high social and economic impact: early school leaving is associated with lower income, worse health and higher risk of social exclusion and bullying, and it limits the capacity of our economies to grow and innovate, damages social cohesion and imposes additional costs on public budgets. Preventing them has become a priority in education policies. However, the lack of effective detection methods and early stage guidelines can hinder the implementation of successful measures to reduce school failure and ensure an inclusive education and equal opportunities for all students.
In Grupo VS, we are developing Díde, a pioneering psycho-pedagogical methodology that will be the first detection tool able to cover this need. Díde is a disruptive and unique platform for the management and early detection and/or discard of 35 learning and development difficulties in children and teenagers from 2 to 18 years old, without the direct intervention of the kids in the process, that provides personalized guidelines adapted to teachers and parents to take action from first signs. We aim to start commercialization of Díde by the end of 2021, and we have already received countless signs of support form Education and Psycho-pedagogical institutions. We are convinced that our integral detection tool will contribute to reduce school failure, make inclusive education a reality and bring equal opportunities to every kid, hence reducing “inequalities and social exclusion in Europe”, which is considered a critical aspect to meet “Inclusive, innovative and reflective societies” societal challenge addressed by Horizon 2020 program.
Finally, through the completion of Díde project we expect to reach €14,8 million revenues three years after its commercialization. Phase 2 will require a €1 million investment, which will present a Cumulative Return of Investment of 4 in 2024.
