Summary of the context and overall objectives of the project

Global growing urbanisation or accelerating consumer lifestyles, we are witnessing nowadays a behavioural change of consumers encompassing the search for wellbeing, and the aspiration to live a less complicated life. Draw Me A Garden (DMAG) solution offers a revolutionary SaaS/e-commerce mixed service that allows everyone to have a gardening solution that start from designing your own garden, order the plants that best suits your garden. DMAG offers a sustainable garden, maintenance through our personalised tips and recommendations.
Our Do-It-Yourself model allows our customers to have a much more cost-effective solution allowing them to connect with nature.
DMAG has already built a functioning prototype of the DMAG’s designing tool and is working to improve the product to successfully reach the market in the next years. Specific objectives include:
-Improve the design tool of our website
-Improve DMAG 2D and 3D visualizations
-Study our competitors
-Study international target markets
-Forecast our growth and financial requirements

Work performed from the beginning of the project to the end of the period covered by the report and main results achieved so far

Main results achieved include:
-feedback from users regarding our design tool to improve their user experience
-Identified the algorithms to improve our integrated solution
-Set the business and pricing model
-Built confidence on the technical, commercial and financial feasibility of the project thanks to Feasibility Study (FS)
-Confirmation of our Freedom to Operate
Overall, this FS has enabled us to:
-Detect and prioritize areas of development to bring DMAG to the market
-Provide a solid basis for the planning our technical and commercial work ahead
-Identify risks and opportunities and plan how we can mitigate them
-Assess our readiness for a Ph2 project that can support us in successfully reaching the market
As an outcome of the FS we have decided to progress forward and to present a Ph2 proposal to the H2020 SME instrument

Progress beyond the state of the art and expected potential impact (including the socio-economic impact and the wider societal implications of the project so far)

-A unique integrated digital gardening solution
-DMAG provides you with the best design ideas, plans and tips for having a sustainable garden taken into account location and weather conditions
-Reduce gardening costs as DMAG’s idea is based on Do-It-Yourself models
-Translate the vision of prestigious botanists and landscapers into an accessible online tool
-Help people to reconnect with nature
-Generate economic activity: in 2022, we expect reached €31.2M turnover and a net result of €4.77M€
-Create jobs: 113 total employees by 2022
-Create added value: Return on Investment would be: 4.34 €/€ invested by 2022
