This intermediate report will detail the target architecture for the testbed scenarios to be realized in WP5, also covering the for integration of existing infrastructure relevant to the selected use cases into the network design.
Final specification and implementation of the building blocks (öffnet in neuem Fenster)D42 will concern the implementation of multimachine diagnostic system in MEC The objective is to develop and implement a multiple machine diagnostic system for MEC cloud and to do unit test for each machine This private 5G cloud version can work well as a single machine version installed in an edge IPC Moreover D42 will propose some enhancements of URLLC protocols thanks to an opportunistic approach multiconnectivity strategies and mechanisms adapted to intermittent channels D42 will also specify a joint optimization of the VNF deployment and the cloud resources allocation based on distributed artificial intelligence mechanisms
E2E In-Factory System Integration Report (öffnet in neuem Fenster)This report documents the transition from lab environments to real world trial network deployment in both the European and Taiwanese manufacturing facilitiesIt describes the integration status of the systems initial networking and application testing results as well as the final endtoend architecture to be implemented in the target environments
First Intermediate Report (öffnet in neuem Fenster)Intermediate project report including management report work package status reports and current resource utilization

A project website is set up and updated regularly.
Final Report on Dissemination and Standardization (öffnet in neuem Fenster)Final report on activities for dissemination of project results and standardization contributions including report on the final project workshop
Second Intermediate Report (öffnet in neuem Fenster)Intermediate project report including management report work package status reports and current resource utilization
Initial specification and implementation of the building blocks (öffnet in neuem Fenster)D41 will provide system design specification of 5G core network for industrial applications MEC Cloud including MEE VNF and NFV infrastructure and 5G RAN system composed of CPE and gNB which comply with the 3GPP standard of eMBB and URLLC features On the one hand D41 will detail the development of a 5G core prototype including basic functions like AMF SMF AUSF UDM and UPF and a NFVlike lightweight orchestration framework to handle network virtualization VNF placement and lifecycle management The NFV infrastructure which is composed of OpenStack and SDN networks will be developed On the other hand D41 will provide subsystem design specification which defined architecture modules and mechanisms for the MEC Cloud These components will fuel the lab integration reported in D51
Specification and implementation of advanced functionalities (öffnet in neuem Fenster)D43 will provide a joint optimization of enabling technologies radio core MEC and joint optimization of the VNF deployment and the cloud resources allocation based on distributed artificial intelligence mechanisms Dynamic resource virtual machines allocation will be considered for computation offloading from mobile inspectors to mobile edge hosts D44 will also provide some enhancements of existing deterministic URLLC protocols providing the minimal QoS requirements eg minimal reliability minimal availability maximal latency without jitter thanks to an opportunistic approach ultrareliable or ultralow latency
Report on relevant requirements and concerns regarding suitable operator models (öffnet in neuem Fenster)This deliverable elaborates the requirements and concerns for nonpublic 5G factory networks which have been identified from an industrial manufacturers perspective including an evaluation template
Report on Network Performance Analysis, Maintenance and Monitoring (öffnet in neuem Fenster)This report will cover network parameter analysis including RSRP SINR Throughput etc which gives radio network planners realistic insights of how 5G NR networks will perform in the factory floor
Report on Measurements & Network Planning Methodology (öffnet in neuem Fenster)This report contains the detailed results of the measurement campaigns conducted within Task 31 and corresponding analyses It further provides information on the developed application specific network planning methodology and tools
Final Report on Private 5G Network Architecture and Operator Models (öffnet in neuem Fenster)This deliverable will describe the full 5G CONNI enterprise Private 5G Network and system architecture including solutions for multisite interconnectivity and cloud integration It will also include the full operator model survey with detailed cost analyses for different deployment strategies
