SMARTPROTECT Online Data Sharing Platform

Based on the outcomes of WP2 an online data sharing platform will be developed in order to facilitate the networking and needs matching Smart IPM providers and relevant stakeholders It aims to strengthen the collaboration between providers of the technology including research and endusers This platform will be designed based on the successful deployment and acceptance of the INNOSETA platform httpwwwinnosetaeu which is developed by the WP leader Agenso Two main features will describe the specially designed database of the online data sharing platform Searchable The data sharing platform will contain the data from WP2 which will be filled into this comprehensive database that will play a crucial role in a longterm process of strengthening the collaboration between solution providers and the industry The platform will enable easy and userfriendly searches by the use of custom queries find related information andor documents and rank search resultsUpdateable The database will have the capability to accept new entries and correction and editing of existing data on request Although the majority of the provided information will be extracted from WP2 Interested stakeholders could also add additional data to the online sharing platform that are important for matching purposes It should also be mentioned that besides stakeholders identified within WP2 the data sharing platform will be open to new entries Each new entry will pass through a strict validation process so database users can be sure that the information provided is accurate and reliableIn the frame of this task Inagro and Agenso will set up a Technical Committee TC with technical staff at DGAgri in order to ensure successful embedding of the SMARTPROTECT Online Data Sharing Platform with the EIPSP Platform The TC will guide the functional and technical design of all software components and will monitor their implementation Also a virtual test bed will be developed The tool will initially act as an online content aggregator for Smart IPM solutions It will provide an inclusive demonstration of the identified solutions

Content review of the database round 1

The information collected and the process of collecting and summarizing further information will be reviewed at subsequent WP leader meetings

Content review of the database round 2
