Erweiterte Datenbank zur Überwachung von Industrieanlagen

Energie und IKT (Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologie) sind die wichtigsten Sektoren in der Weltwirtschaft, die eine beispiellose Expansion erleben. Der Energiesektor muss jedoch sauberere und nachhaltigere Systeme finden, um strategische Entscheidungen zu erleichtern. Bestehende Lösungen können keine zuverlässigen Informationen zur Deckung dieses Bedarfs bieten. Andererseits befindet sich der IKT-Sektor in einem schnellen Wandel und entwickelt moderne Technologien für den Umgang mit riesigen Mengen an alternativen Daten. Das EU-finanzierte Projekt PAWES schlägt eine Lösung vor, die zuverlässige Informationen für mehr Transparenz auf den Energiemärkten bietet. Bei der Lösung handelt es sich um eine fortschrittliche automatisierte und anlagenbezogene Datenbank und Visualisierungsplattform, die weltweit eine Echtzeit-Überwachung von Industrieanlagen ermöglicht.

Ziel

New technological, economic, geopolitical and social fault lines are shaking the foundations of two of the global economy’s most important sectors: energy and ICT. The energy system is facing a critical and urgent transition toward a cleaner, more affordable and sustainable model with associated costs estimated in the 100s of trillions euros over the next decades. In this context, strategic operational and investment decisions should be based on reliable, accurate and actionable information, often unavailable. At the same time, the ICT sector must develop new technologies as machine learning and advance signals processing to treat an unprecedented volume of alternative data. The energy sector could then highly benefit from the ICT’s big data disruption to the success of its transition.
Combining deep sector (energy) and technology (data science, machine learning) expertise to provide new and valuable information for greater transparency in energy markets and operations, Kayrros ambitions to become the European tech champion in business intelligence and analytics. Commingling commercially available data from sensors, satellites and the web, Kayrros has placed R&D at the heart of its development and growth strategy since its inception in 2016. Built by European talents with a global ambition, the company has consolidated a leadership position as the reference alternative data provider for the energy market and is now expanding into new sectors.
Thanks to its proprietary technology, Kayrros aims to create and lead a new multi-billion-euro market, by being the first provider of automated real time observation of industrial assets worldwide. Hence, Kayrros has built a highly automated asset-centric database and visualisation platform, which has been rolled-out and commercialized as Kayrros’s Solutions in 2019.
Kayrros’s vision is to participate in creating a European remote sensing and alternative data hub and foster the European Union’s leadership in these fields.
