Descrizione del progetto DEENESFRITPL Un database avanzato per il monitoraggio dei beni industriali L’energia e le TIC sono i settori più importanti nell’economia mondiale, con un’espansione senza precedenti. Tuttavia, il settore energetico subisce pressioni per trovare sistemi più puliti e sostenibili che facilitino le decisioni strategiche. Le soluzioni esistenti non possono offrire informazioni affidabili per sostenere una tale necessità. D’altro canto, il settore delle TIC è in rapida trasformazione e sviluppa tecnologie avanzate per gestire grandi volumi di dati alternativi. Il progetto PAWES, finanziato dall’UE, propone una soluzione che fornisce informazioni affidabili per una maggiore trasparenza all’interno dei mercati energetici. Le soluzioni sono un database avanzato e automatizzato incentrato sui beni e una piattaforma di visualizzazione che offre un monitoraggio in tempo reale dei beni industriali a livello globale. The energy system is facing a critical and urgent transition toward a cleaner, more affordable and sustainable model with associated costs estimated in the 100s of trillions euros over the next decades. In this context, strategic operational and investment decisions should be based on reliable, accurate and actionable information, often unavailable. At the same time, the ICT sector must develop new technologies as machine learning and advance signals processing to treat an unprecedented volume of alternative data. The energy sector could then highly benefit from the ICT’s big data disruption to the success of its transition.Combining deep sector (energy) and technology (data science, machine learning) expertise to provide new and valuable information for greater transparency in energy markets and operations, Kayrros ambitions to become the European tech champion in business intelligence and analytics. Commingling commercially available data from sensors, satellites and the web, Kayrros has placed R&D at the heart of its development and growth strategy since its inception in 2016. Built by European talents with a global ambition, the company has consolidated a leadership position as the reference alternative data provider for the energy market and is now expanding into new sectors.Thanks to its proprietary technology, Kayrros aims to create and lead a new multi-billion-euro market, by being the first provider of automated real time observation of industrial assets worldwide.
