Zaawansowana baza danych do monitorowania zasobów przemysłowych
Sektory energetyki oraz technologie informacyjno-komunikacyjne (TIK) to obecnie dwie najważniejsze gałęzie gospodarki światowej, w których obserwujemy niespotykany dotąd rozwój. Nad sektorem energetyki krąży jednak widmo konieczności znalezienia bardziej ekologicznych i zrównoważonych systemów pozwalających na podejmowanie strategicznych decyzji, z racji faktu, że istniejące rozwiązania nie są w stanie zapewnić rzetelnych i wiarygodnych informacji w celu zaspokojenia tych potrzeb. Z drugiej strony jesteśmy świadkami błyskawicznej transformacji sektora TIK, który rozwija zaawansowane technologie przetwarzania olbrzymich ilości danych pochodzących z różnych źródeł. W ramach finansowanego przez Unię Europejską projektu PAWES powstaje rozwiązanie, które zapewnia wiarygodne i rzetelne informacje, dzięki którym możliwe jest zapewnienie większej przejrzystości rynków energii. Na zaproponowane rozwiązanie składa się zaawansowana i zautomatyzowana baza danych zasobów oraz platforma wizualizacji, która oferuje monitorowanie zasobów przemysłowych w czasie rzeczywistym na całym świecie.
Cel
New technological, economic, geopolitical and social fault lines are shaking the foundations of two of the global economy’s most important sectors: energy and ICT. The energy system is facing a critical and urgent transition toward a cleaner, more affordable and sustainable model with associated costs estimated in the 100s of trillions euros over the next decades. In this context, strategic operational and investment decisions should be based on reliable, accurate and actionable information, often unavailable. At the same time, the ICT sector must develop new technologies as machine learning and advance signals processing to treat an unprecedented volume of alternative data. The energy sector could then highly benefit from the ICT’s big data disruption to the success of its transition.
Combining deep sector (energy) and technology (data science, machine learning) expertise to provide new and valuable information for greater transparency in energy markets and operations, Kayrros ambitions to become the European tech champion in business intelligence and analytics. Commingling commercially available data from sensors, satellites and the web, Kayrros has placed R&D at the heart of its development and growth strategy since its inception in 2016. Built by European talents with a global ambition, the company has consolidated a leadership position as the reference alternative data provider for the energy market and is now expanding into new sectors.
Thanks to its proprietary technology, Kayrros aims to create and lead a new multi-billion-euro market, by being the first provider of automated real time observation of industrial assets worldwide. Hence, Kayrros has built a highly automated asset-centric database and visualisation platform, which has been rolled-out and commercialized as Kayrros’s Solutions in 2019.
Kayrros’s vision is to participate in creating a European remote sensing and alternative data hub and foster the European Union’s leadership in these fields.
