Document reporting the HF aeroelastic analysis of cantilever wing configuration equipped with folding wingtip mechanismCONTRIBUTORSSIEMENS will perform the HIFI aerostructural analyses of the optimized folding wingtip configurations A special care will be devoted to the mechanical simulation of the folding mechanismUNIVBRIS will share the aeroelastic medium fidelity model of the optimized folding wingtip configurations and will support SIEMENSPOLIMI will support SIEMENS to derive the relevant results supporting the definition of the final aeroservoelastic wind tunnel model to be tested at POLIMI

Trade-off analysis of the HARW configurations and definition of the Wind Tunnel experimental campaign

Document comparing the performances of the different HARW configurations and supporting the definition of the experimental campaignThe document includes a tradeoff of the advanced HARW configurations and defined the number and configurations of wind tunnel models for the experimental validation CONTRIBUTORSUNIVBRIS will assess the results provided by the three teams working on the different configurations POLIMI will provide an overview of the different models and type of wind tunnel tests necessary to validate the results obtained from aerodynamic and aeroservoelastic point of view

This deliverable allows to participate in the Open Research Data Pilot

Design, manufacturing, instrumentation, and delivery of WT model for aeroelastic test (SBW configuration)

Complete description and delivery of WT model AE1.CONTRIBUTORS:IBK will provide the final mechanical design of the aeroelastic wind tunnel model (SBW configuration) and its connections to the POLIMI’s wind tunnel and will coordinate the manufacturing process (subco).POLIMI will provide the preliminary design of the model, including the scaling process, as well as the final installation of the instrumentation.
