Project description
Giving flight to new airport operations
An integrated transport system that is sustainable, safer and smarter is a major priority for the EU. The EU-funded IMHOTEP project will go beyond collaborative decision-making to propagate information from air transport systems to the public transport network for passenger benefit. The goal is to develop a concept of operations and a set of data analysis methods and tools that allow information sharing, common situational awareness and real-time collaborative decision-making between airports and ground transport stakeholders. A set of case studies at the Palma de Mallorca and the London City airports will be conducted to test these newly developed methods and tools.
