Stimuler la recherche agroalimentaire à Zagreb
L’industrie agroalimentaire tient une place importante dans la société depuis des centaines d’années et continue de la tenir aujourd’hui. Ces derniers temps, la recherche dans ce secteur industriel s’est intensifiée, et plus particulièrement dans l’économie et la gestion des entreprises agroalimentaires. Malgré cette tendance, les ressources restent insuffisantes dans ce secteur de la recherche. Le projet AgriFoodBoost, financé par l’UE, vise à changer cet état de fait en aidant la Faculté d’agriculture de l’Université de Zagreb (FAZ) à devenir un acteur compétitif dans ce domaine de recherche. Dans cette optique, il introduira plusieurs programmes visant à aider les chercheurs à développer une meilleure coordination et une meilleure communication, en plus de les aider à mener des recherches.
Objectif
University of Zagreb Faculty of Agriculture (FAZ) has qualified scientists in the field of agri-food economics ready to improve their scientific, innovation and academic capacities in order to become competitive on the scientific market, but also to offer new expertise to agri-food business sector. Therefore, a 3-year project focusing on use of experimental economics applied to agriculture, food and the environment has been designed in partnership with 3 partners from Italy, Greece and Sweden. AgriFoodBoost project will help FAZ to become a regionally leading Centre for experimental agri-food economics and management. The project is aligned with the EU and Croatian Smart Specialisation Strategies tackling sectors recognized among the most competitive in Croatia. AgriFoodBoost activities include researchers’ exchanges, thematic summer schools and workshops, experts visits, participation at conferences, establishment of a laboratory for experimental economics and a research HUB with a role to bring together universities, industry and public administration. A special attention has been devoted to early stage researchers including long-term visits and double mentoring, participation in summer schools, workshops and PhD conference. A dedicated task will help to improved project management/administration skills of FAZ researchers and administrative staff. Communication, dissemination and exploitation activities include efforts to increase awareness of scientific community in Croatia and in the neighbouring region on recent developments in experimental economic. Furthermore, these activities are targeted towards businesses and policy makers aiming to increase their awareness and understanding of experimental economics purposes, potential areas of application and benefits as well as towards general public promoting experimental economics as a support for rational and responsible decision-making in order to achieve a positive societal and economic impact on the society.
